Carbon fuels my imagination
It’s been a while since Carbon appeared in the app store and have remained a big fan. i’m not prolific and what i create is nowhere near the caliber of others whose talent is outstanding, but it’s ok because that is a goal i can aspire to equal and maybe sometime in the near future i’ll submit something i’ve created with the aid this app. the app is simple to manage. i don’t have to learn a new language to complete a project.
right now i’m using the app to help me define values in pictures i am using for a series of color pencil drawings and watercolors. i will be happy to return to this review to update my use of this app.Show lesstclecle
The Total BW Toolbox!
I love this app! I take lots of color photographs that clearly lend themselves to black and white treatment, but many apps that will allow you to make the change don’t have the number of options and effects to get a professional look. The results here are almost always pro quality!
As a Carbon app lover, I have say that in each of my paid photo editing apps, there’s a B&W fx. I found that regardless of the limitations, and subpar performance, I can’t figure out why, if I paid for these apps, they couldn’t deliver what Carbon does. One of my apps has adopted the same format of city-named B&W fx, but it’s still not the high quality I get from Carbon. Carbon continues to add effects and is the standout of black & white editing apps!!!Show lessRoSealey
Worth Every Penny
This app is amazing. It’s so hard to edit/create variations of black & white pictures and filters, and with this app you never have to do that again. It’s not just b&w filters either, when you pay for all access you get amazing features like duo-tone filters, light leaks, textures, negatives, and even a whole set dedicated to grain variations! Also, a bonus is that you can layer as many effects as you want, as well as undo/redo the changes you’ve made.
