Great app & great customer/app support
One night while using the app I accidentally downloaded/purchased all the filters & textures because of the in-app purchase feature & finger print scanner on iphones (which has since been turned off to avoid that from happening again). I landed in a bit of a panic because I figured if I messaged Livintis they'd probably respond that there was nothing they could do because I'm an idiot.
BOY. WAS. I. WRONG.
I got an immediate response from the creator of the app apologizing for the mixup & asking me to send him proof of purchase & my paypal info so he can send a refund. While I hadn't actually been charged yet it took a few days for me to send that info to him. Once I sent it my refund was immediate!
I couldn't believe how understanding he was of the situation when he could've responded "sorry you're an idiot I can't help you" & leave it at that but he totally understood & helped me out.
While I don't have all the fancy filters, using the filters the free pack offers I'll still continue to use the app because I like what it has to offer & because of how Livintis handled everything. I'll be sure to check out what other app's they have to offer now & in the future.

Have not been able to figure it out
I’m new here. But I’m having a hard time trying to figure my way around this app. It looks like everything you want to really do you have to purchasing it, everything they offer is for purchasing. There’s not much they give you. A lot of the things that they’re offering already comes in with your iPhone or smart phone.
I will add any changes to my comment later, if I could ever figure it out how to use this app. If not, I’ll simply have to delete it.Show lesscleverpanther
Beautiful design
Love the sleek black and white filters, really makes my photos look professional. Looking forward to the next update !
Update: been using this app for a while and I'd say it's become a standard part of my workflow. It's missing some stuff but overall I'm happy with it. No other apps have the diversity of black and white filters that carbon has and this is the key reason I keep coming back. Suggestions for the developers is to add in percentages for the sliders, increase output resolution options, allow us to save editing sequences and also to bulk edit photos. Good stuff so far. Looking forward to the updates!
Update 2: I have another suggestion for you guys. One thing that I noticed was that sometimes, the hashtag feature won't let me post all the tags, the post will just be cancelled, and so I have to manually delete a couple before it will work. If we could set a number on the tags we wanted to copy, that would be great! I use the tag feature a lot so that would be amazing!Show lessJam7382
Best B&W app? Hmm...
Ok, I’m a keen photographer and always try various apps and software to edit photos. B&W being one of my favourite styles. Have to admit the bating to download the app is well thought out ‘Get all this for free’. Download the app only to find out that I have to buy extra features. And at £30+? No thanks! I’ve had a look at the feature you can purchase and there are many but you can get the same or better for free or at a fraction of the price! Eg: Snapseed! Far superior, flexible with editing and free! Well it was when I downloaded it. And since then I’ve had all updated and additional features added for free. I know this is a living for a lot of app developers, but don’t con people into spending money claiming to be the best app when it barely scratches the surface of what other apps can do for a lot less of a cost!!!Show lessRoccotillo

Not only is this app fabulous but I needed to contact the app developer with a question and they got back to me immediately and went above and beyond to resolve my issue. Top notch and high class all the way. This is a perfect example of what an app should be. Bravo!!!roboe15
Terribly overpriced - better apps out there
You’re hostler better off with a number of more sophisticated apps, most of them free. The in app purchase for the £20 premium filters is a joke. Most of the garish colour filters are unusable curve adjustments or slightly tweaked variations on B/W filters as infinity’s. Quantity over quality is the story here. I feel completely duped into buying something that I might use once. But probably not. Also, can’t get a refund. Awful.
Edit - as soon as I published this review I got an email from Ritvik - the app author, with a “How to make great photos” survey, promising a free hidden bonus if I just answer his questions. The questions are all leading questions that point towards him being able to tell me that it’s not his app - it’s my photography skills! Great way to get my hackles up. Not only is this app and developer a total rip off, now I have to deal with spam too. Apple - how do I complain about this and get a refund? We’re talking nearly £24 here...Show lessjah leamana

Waste of money. Waste of space.
The filters and overlays are pointless and very generic, barely customisable. The app is poorly designed. Additionally features are 100% not worth purchasing even for $1 let alone $60. Has to be one of the dumbest purchases I’ve ever made.
I’ve seen basic editing apps perform better with more versatility then this rubbish “editing” app. Black and white filters are no where near what they appear to be.

Favorite editing app
I love the black and white filters in carbon. I've tried a lot of other photo editing apps and none of them do black and white so well. Sometimes the filters bring out shades that I didn't think were possible without color. Yes, some of the other apps have some more nuanced controls, but the one click b&w filters in this one offer such a variety that it makes creating a black and white photograph super easy. One thing I wish we could do is save favorite filters and also be able to go back directly to the camera roll if we chose the wrong image instead of going to the start. Oh also would love filters for desktop, i'd definetely get some of them. Video editing would be amazing too. Please add it!Show lessnm85927
Don't Buy The Whole Package IF......
This is a great app, but what the developers fail to mention is that practically every filter in the "everything" bundle is also included in their "TRIPPY" app. So, if you have "TRIPPY," all you need to buy is the $3.99 b&w bundle.
Also, kind of a rip off in that I paid $3.99 just for b&w, then thought I'd go ahead and get everything. Was charged -not the difference-- but for the whole suite, which includes the b&w. So.... ended up paying nearly $25 when all I really needed was a $3.99 b&w bundle.Show lessMibesto803
Be real. $3.99 to add color?
You got greedy. Instead of focusing on volume with low profit per download you went high out the gate. I paid the $3.99 because I gave you the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe Just maybe there would be something else. I downloaded on my iPad and now my phone. The worst part is the download on my phone is not recognizing my email as an existing user. 👎🏼
I have one suggestion.
Would b great if you offered an erase option at least. This way I can erase the color off the photo on areas I feel will pop through the color more. Just a thoughtShow lessFIT SF

Hey there, Really sorry about the issue! One way to restore the purchases so that it will also work on your iPad is to scroll down to the bottom of the purchase page and click on "RESTORE PURCHASES" button! Please make sure that you are signed into your the apple id (in the iPad Settings app) that you made the purchase with on your iPhone. If that doesn't do the trick, shake your phone to bring up the feedback form, and send us a message (include your email please). We'll do our best to get it all fixed for you! :)
