Like a fine wine this app gets better with age
So silly me I was logged out of the app and forgot I got the annual subscription
Fast forward 6 months since I last logged in and I can surely see the difference
The developers have done so much to add your cycle sync matched with food and exercise and even business planning
Finding it helpful to use as a reference point when planning my week ahead
Thanks from Australia! This app is much appreciated even down to making it normal to be kind to yourself if this months cycle needs a leave day from work.

A little anticlimactic…
I love the ability to track my cycle and journal about the symptoms I am feeling. I even love the recommendations that the app gives every day. However, I feel like with how much I am paying for this app, I was expecting far more from it. For example, if the basis of this app is to help women see their trends and understand their progress, and provide a HOLISTIC approach to the female body and experiencing our cycles, then the app shouldn’t just be another glorified “period app”.
I love the concept, but for nearly $30/mo, I’d like to see more ‘bang for my buck’. I pay for this PLUS a workout app, and that adds up over time. It would be nice to combine the two into one so I can REALLY track my female wellness journey. Therefore, I would love to see more features like a water intake tracker, and a meal tracker with a journal aspect of how the food made me feel afterwards. Also, I like the workout videos, but it would also be nice to have a tracker for how much activity I did throughout the day.
I think MyFlo is a good starting point, but there are other factors that may bring up “symptoms” that I feel on a day to day basis that may not be “period” related (like headaches from an updated eye prescription, or dehydration), but still affect my body just as much. I love the concept, but for this to be a holistic approach to women’s health, then it would be nice to see more features than just “periods”.

The most pointless app
I have used this app since its first been created & I really enjoyed. However since they did update with the new look they have lost all my data without notifying in advance so I can save it somewhere else. I have contacted customer support on couple of occasions to help me retrieve my data however they were unable and kept on giving me the excuse that the data is not lost but without a solution of accessing my data. However I kept using the app with the hope the new look will bring more functionality and ease of tracking my cycle. What a deceitful experience… now I again opened the app and found out that I’m not even able to make changes or enter new cycle period unless I pay 29£ a month for cycle syncing option… what on earth?! This app is completely useless if I can’t add or change my new period data. It’s created to make money of subscription & supplements promoting & pushing purchases. It’s not genuine & can’t be trusted!

Not worth it
This new update is not great. You can’t see the short cycle syncing suggestions per phase anymore, and you can’t track which cycle syncing things you did each day (food, exercise, etc). These things are only an option now if you pay for a membership. The whole app now feels focused on selling you their products as opposed to actually helping you track your cycle effectively. For something that’s supposed to empower women to live their best lives, this is incredibly disappointing and is adding more barriers.

Disappointed by need for subscription
I paid for the app originally a few years ago. I am very disappointed now that I have to subscribe to be able see most things on the app. Without a subscription it’s basically a period tracker. $40/month is a lot for subscription for an app I already paid for initially
Great if you want to pay
I have used this app for many years and loved it for a long time until recently. It was a resource for all my period information and support for each cycle and I used to be able to input all my cycle data and have it give me recommendations based on my symptoms. Now, with the update, it doesn’t do any of that but I still used the app for a long time because I liked that it recommended foods to eat, types of workouts I should be doing, and how best to focus at work. It just updated today and I am seeing that now you have to pay for all the information I used to get for free. I’m not getting much in return for how much data I input. I’m thinking of switching to a different app. I would love to support Alissa and have bought some of her books as well, but I cannot afford the price tag that comes along with this new update. I miss having the insights that this app used to give :(

Disappointed
The app was great when it was first released, but now it rarely saves my logged periods and notes. They disappear every time I have to update the update. Which is very frequent now. And I’m constantly being upsold on products. Which I wouldn’t mind if it worked consistently. For a paid App, I wouldn’t recommend for just tracking your cycle.

What happened?!
I have had this app for 3 and a half years. I have recommended it to countless friends, bought many copies of Alisa’s In The Flo book and given to friends because I believe in it so much.
Recently, I tried to login to my account and I had to reset my password, I had no other option. When I logged back in, the app that I had loved for years, was gone. All my data I had entered over the last 3 and a half years was gone. Everything that made this app so helpful and unique is gone. In the old app, when I entered my symptoms it would tell me what was going on and what lifestyle, diet fixes were needed. It was absolute gold. Now that that feature is no longer available I don’t really see the point. I am honestly devastated! My partner and I are trying to get pregnant and so this cuts even deeper. All the value was removed and, the upsell to supplements and vague answers were added. It just feels like a new marketing person was put on the team and said you need to sell more stuff, change your app to make people buy in order to get results. Which hey, I’m not against purchasing the supplements but please Alisa, I am begging you, put the things back that you took out of the app! This new version is a huge step down to the old app.

New app = confusing experience
I used this app some years ago pre-conception to track my cycle. It was simple to input data and track with occasional helpful tips.
I have started using the app again recently. The newer iteration, while beautifully designed, is a complicated user experience. As mentioned in other reviews I’ve lost access to old account and data, am prompted to sign up regularly and am guided towards expensive plans. I am only interested in tracking in the simplest way - more like what the old app offered.
If profitability is now a central priority why not charge a one-off fee for the app rather than include confusing plan / supplement upsells and complicated functionality.

Stop constantly changing it
I used to love this app but they change it so frequently and it’s so hard to navigate now. They also seem to be pushing their own products so much vs actually helping track everything.
