Blocks you if you're traveling or using a VPN!
The app completely blocks you from using it if you're traveling internationally or using a VPN. I don't see the point of this. Every other app I use works wherever I am located and with my VPN on, which I use for security and privacy especially when using public wifi, just like many other users. Inkind is putting customers at risk by forcing them to turn off this security feature. It shouldn't be allowed by Apple. Users should be able to connect anywhere. If Inkind wants to increase security (rather than just tracking users which I suspect is behind blocking VPNs), they can add two-factor authentication. I won't be using this app due to their poor security and privacy practices.

True Food
I just left True Food and my experience was exceptional! This was my second visit, the first being for a friend’s 40th birthday a couple weeks ago. Our server this time was the most pleasant Jewel and she really was top tier. From the beginning she did such an eloquent job explaining the mission and beliefs of True Food. She checked on us regularly and I definitely was never parched. Jewel gave updated on our food and made sure everything was to our liking. Just like Jewel, her recommendation of the flourless chocolate cake was a top tier ending to our meal. Until next time. Thank you Jewel for a great dining experience.

Misleading promotion
Misleading advertising. Went to make dinner reservations at a restaurant I had wanted to try, and saw advertisement for this app, with $50 off as a ‘special welcome gift’. Seemed like a good deal, but when I tried to reserve a table through the app, all the spots were taken through the discount expiration date. Of course, plenty of seats were available with no discount, through Open Table. Yet, the app and discount continue to be advertised on the restaurant’s website. We ate at the restaurant without the discount anyways, and I will be deleting this app. Edit: developer just responded that we could use the app to pay for the meal anyways and get the discount but that was never clear and we enjoyed our meal a week ago so it is too late. App was deleted and I will not try to use it again. As with many things, better to deal with the company directly than from some confusing third party app.

Sorry for the confusion. Your welcome gift can be used by paying with the inKind app at the restaurant no matter how you book your table. Go ahead and book with Open Table, and just pay with inKind after enjoying your meal and you'll be able to take advantage of your special welcome gift!
