Finally We Have Whole House Wi-Fi
Our house is a 200 year old thick wall, multiple room large house and we have never been able to get while house coverage even with every extender in the market. Researched the BT whole home option and decided the easy of installation was for us non tech people. We bought the triple dish option and installation took approx 10 minutes, so very easy, my 11 year old actually connected the two extra discs.
We now have brilliant whole house and half garden coverage, works through thick walls and now there is no running into a room to pick the Wi-Fi up to view a google page. My sons gaming speeds are excellent and no longer glitch as we found with temperamental extenders. We have s Virgin router box but the BT discs work perfectly. Can not recommend this product enough, easy of set up with the App ( you will need to download the App) and coverage through thick walls. Also love the fact that you can just unslot the password bracket from the back of the disc so easy to connect all devices and any visiting friends.

Best thing.......
I live in a solidly built 3 up 3 down (with a loft conversion. Getting a usable Wi-fi service (ie streaming films over network, not from internet) was proving difficult. Seeing I already had some Apple kit I thought I’d try that route which proved to be usable until SWMBO decided to buy a Ring 2 doorbell which caused all types of network congestion (no I don’t know why either).
So after doing some research I decided on these units, I’ve got three. All I can say is they work with even the link which is supposedly problematic giving no real problems. The bandwidth at the weakest unit is only about 5mbps slower than next to the strongest unit.
Films can stream to any tv now with no buffering, the SKYQ has no problems and there’s little if any delay with the doorbell.
It is as easy to set up as the limited instructions say but if you already have an established network it may prove easier to turn off the Wi-fi on your router and transfer the settings to this (well it made my life easier)
