Snarky customer service doesn’t want to help
If you use a VPN as a way to access geo blocked content, this might be the VPN for you. If you need a VPN to access sites that ISPs governments want to block, DO NOT use this. The VPN will be blocked before you are even able to connect.
I contacted customer support detailing my issue and a snarky representative named Alex F. told me that they never claimed to be a stealth VPN, and that trying to access restricted content is a bad idea. Their website implies that they can get around the Great Firewall of China, but in reality they can’t get around basic business firewalls.Show lessjaredtravis
No control on connection
I live in a country with restricted access to the internet and i have about 7 to 10 paid VPN apps on my phone. Every single one of them except vpn.ac let me choose the port and protocol. vpn.ac have this feature on the windows client but not on The iOS app.SHoBBar MZ

I bought this app half year ago, but it can't work on my pc recently. When I want to download the software again, I found the homepage had been blocked. So I could only use this vpn on Ipad and Iphone. But today, I just found there is another website for chinese user to access the homepage. Now I could use it on my pc again! Better & More Reliable Than Proton
I have been using VPN.ac for over 3 years on and off. I also use ProtonVPN because Im a premium member but over the last few months feel they have become far to unreliable. I always come back to VPN.ac and Im always more than satisfied. From now on I will be sticking with them for my VPN needs.MadzPadz
Works when it works
It works well for a basic secure VPN. But on more restricted networks you have no control over any settings such as IP, DNS, or connection type. As you can see from the photos, that is literally all there is to the app essentially other than the login screen.TheZZman2000
Working Quite Well
Great app to get over the GFW, tho some servers are a bit slower, but that’s to be expected.
Only thing is the iOS auto disconnect VPN (maybe WiFi?) when locked so is a bit less convenient to have to unlock the phone and wait a bit for the VPN to reconnect, and sometimes it might take a couple tries or switch phone’s network connections (WiFi to data or vice versa). But I guess it’s more of an iOS’ fault than VPN provider’s.Show lessNiko007lzq
