I can’t imagine why this one doesn’t have a 5-star rating!!!!

Have tried several different programs over the years. FINALLY, one where I am actually learning something! Easy, fun, quick, absolutely LOVE this app, so much so that I went out of my way to write this review.

Subscription Required?

When starting this app for the first time it will bring up a screen requiring you to pick a subscription model. I do not want to use any! There’s supposed to be a free version but I don’t see the option. I deleted the app and told the App Store to hide the download. Now I will be watching my account like a hawk to make sure this thing isn’t trying to leach money every month.

If you put at the top of the description “subscription required“ I would never have downloaded the app in the first place and we would both be happier right now.

having trouble

how do I switch languages? I am learning more than one language and i can’t switch the language. I am making a word set by searching “‘language’+’topic’” instead of being able to switch languages. It also stops you from making 10 word sets per day, and this includes sets that have been deleted. Though I really like the concept and flow of this app, it is a little disappointing after buying the most expensive membership seeing there are limitations with quantity and barriers with using multiple languages.

We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear about the difficulties you’re experiencing. To switch between languages in Remember, please follow these steps: 1. Access Settings: Open the app and navigate to the settings menu. 2. Select Desired Language: Choose the language you wish to learn from the available options. This way you will only have desired language in practice. Alternatively, you can create groups dedicated to a certain language. Please let us know if you need any help at hello@rmmbr.io Regarding the limitation on creating word sets, even with a premium subscription, there is a daily cap to ensure optimal performance and user experience. We understand this can be frustrating, especially when deleted sets count toward this limit. Our development team is actively working to address this issue in future updates. Not there yet

I was excited to use this as it is one of the only apps with Latvian. The lack of a free version was a little annoying as I like to test things out before paying, but what’s more annoying is once I did test it out, the pronunciation is awful. If it was a free app, I’d just use it for the ability to ready the flash cards myself but I am not paying a ridiculous amount of money for an app that has completely incorrect pronunciation to the point that it’s hard to listen to. So disappointing as it really makes it unusable and not worth the money

🔍 Adding a batch of words

The app is great, but it's missing the feature to add a bunch of words in the translation section.

No free functionality

Apps put forward as though there’s free functionality however you are force to pay for ‘pro’ to make use of any features. GTFO

This will cost at least $99 to be able to use it

This is supposed to be about $9 a month but halfway through getting it setup, you’re forced to pay $99 for Flashcards. This isn’t mentioned in the app’s info in the App Store. And you can’t continue without paying for Flashcards, so you can’t use Remember at all.
What a rip off! I’ve deleted this app and better not be charged anything for it.

No free version

I understand that this aids language learners but this looked promising until it got to the payments. I thought that this app had a chance at beating duolingo but I thought wrong. Really disappointed:(
