Great All Around
This game is pretty fun, building/managing a team and creating infrastructure of the arena, ETC. but after playing for over a year it crashed for about two weeks and when it finally loaded again I lost a lot of players due to contracts expiring and lost matches as well. I emailed the customer service team thinking that I all my progress was for nothing and I’d just have to delete it and start over if I wanted to continue using it. To my surprise they reinstated all my lost players and gave me compensation for gameplay in coins and cash. Gary was fantastic in his concern and customer service support!! I think there are a lot of good things about this game but if there is one thing I dislike about mobile games is the time-based elements keep the progression of the game on the developer’s clock, not yours. I enjoyed periodically playing this game and training players. If you are a casual player that’s fine with playing this a few times a week but not every day, you might eventually find your lineups with missing players because of contracts ending. It wouldn’t be an issue if you were to extend contracts of players well before they expire but in order to do so, it costs coins. I would much rather pay for the game up front than be on the hook routinely to play the game to keep the progress I have made. Solid Game - Only a few Additions?
This game is v solid. I have spent a few bucks and really enjoy playing and seeing how I stack up against other teams. I only wish that they would consider adding a couple things…such as a player comparison section within your own squad. A page where you can see your players full stats against another player (same position) within your team to help find the best possible lineups. I also wish there was a true trade feature where you can trade players that you bring up through the ranks and invested in. It’s sad that if you invest in a great player your only options are to pay their quick increase in salary or release instead of potentially getting a fair trade on the player with another team.Show lessjkm520

Its very fleshed but its not very good. It doesn’t give me a good reason to come back. I love hockey i want a hockey game and a good one on mobile. NHL franchise mode tops this.
You want to manage and play your own hockey team… you would love franchises mode.
If I had this option or franchise. Id pick NHL franchise over this. Not very good quality. It lacks alot. Its still a time killer. But it really lacks
THE ADS ARE TOO AGGRESSIVE!!
Oh your in the middle of a match? Here let me send you to the app store! You like puzzle games?? Really bad strategy games. I mean no shame its egregious! How is it even playable. And no control element is offered in matches… honestly kind of stupid. Like give me at least an option to change strategy on forechecks, breakouts, and how aggressive I should go in periods. This game is so RNG based it basically ask you to pay for money, to get better. Going by the “want get better?? Pay us and we can still not make that happen” and RNG in management game? Two things that don’t mix well.

Buggiest App Ever
I’ve played this game for more than 4 years. It is clearly a pay-to-win game, but it is interesting nonetheless. But, it is far and away the busiest app I’ve ever used. Things simply don’t work the way every other app does. It crashes constantly. It frequently won’t connect to the game’s servers even when every other app on my phone works. Half of the times the updates lock me out of my team or simply don’t work. It’s designed a that players have to constantly log into the game to collect rewards, etc. to avoid losing ground. This is impossible when the app simply doesn’t work for some users. Right now, the game won’t load for me so I guess I’m not playing this weekend’s tournament that is about to begin, because I will lose too much ground. Every day when I try to login, I know that there’s a high probability that I simply won’t be able to access my account because the game is fragile. After 4+ years I really thought that ie would work like a normal app by now.Show less54fyting

The game was great until about 3 months ago. After that update the game experience changed dramatically. One of the main issues is the challenges that paid out decent rewards if you won or did well, changed. The rewards are next to nothing now. The cards you would collect to train your players, increase morale, and energy were removed from the challenge payout. This change requires you to use real money to purchase card decks to be able to compete at a level needed to sustain a decent team.
I have been playing this game since it’s launch and it’s now longer fun, the developer took the fun out of the game by “requiring” you to purchase items to remain competitive..Show lessdisappointed Hockey player
Simple and Fun
I’ve been casually playing this game for years. It’s nice that it doesn’t require a lot of time commitment to enjoy it. There are, however a lot of areas that could/should be improved or else I would 5 star the app in a heartbeat.
1.) BUG - the first is an issue after one of the previous updates where the stats screen is no longer functional. All I can see is my goalie’s stats, and the rows/columns are all skewed. I cannot scroll down to view any player stats.
2.) Improvement - Player stats, in addition to a fix to view the player stats within the current season I would love if we were able to see career stats. It would make the game feel more connected. For me (and I’m sure many others) I like to develop players and play them until they retire. It would be nice to see how well they’ve done in their career with the team. Couple this with maybe adding an all time team leader section (goals, assists, points, PIM, sv%, etc..) and that would be next level.
3.) Improvement - Player stat data analysis. It would be AWESOME to be able to download a spreadsheet format of your roster and stats. That would take managing a team to a new level being able to actually analyze how well each player is performing.

It would be great to save more career stats and data, the only problem is that it takes a large amount of space so the app might take more time to load and so on. Maybe we could save that data on a website instead, we are discussing different options! I'll send all your feeback straight to our game designer :)Always losing to lesser teams
This game is decent. I like that your players get better to a point. Very authentic.
However, playing in tournaments makes me furious! My team has balance almost 50 in attack, defense and goaltending. None of my players is rated under 44 on any line. Yet when I play lesser teams I get beat constantly. I can see a lesser team winning every once in a while but it seems like I lose 30% of my games to lesser teams. Not just a little lesser, over 10 points lesser of a team beats me. It’s a little ridiculous. You spend so much time carefully crafting your team and then almost all the time they lose. Fun Game but would like a bit more
I’ve only played for a couple of months but it is a fun game and I really enjoy it! There are a couple of things I would like to see though that would improve the managing of the team and games.
- Goalie Stats: It is hard to really compare net minders when all I have is their skills rating. Would love to see season stats specific to the goalies. Games played, goals against, save percentage, etc.
- The ability to change tactics and goalies during intermission. Sometimes you just have to adapt to what the other team is giving you or your goalie just doesn’t have it that night!

Great game!
Overall I think it’s a great game. I would love for a way to be able to trade with other teams through the season so I don’t just have to release players. I think it would be a fun way to expand the game to include trade for other players or even a few prospects or money/coins. Also think it would be cool to include some sort of draft or something in academy so we could have a chance to pick from a few based on their stats and what you needed (maybe hide their overall and show us some stats and give us random positions)
