Terrible App

It’s impossible to purchase for an in store pickup. I set my store location, look for what’s in stock (allegedly) and when I try to choose the guitar it keeps going back to “find store (within how many miles)” I pick the store for the tenth time, and the app will sweep to the login page (already signed in) and then back to the product. Back to square one if I may use such technology jargon. To conclude you cannot order from a store. You can add to cart, but when you go to check out, no way to choose store pickup. A swift update to fix the bug is in order. Otherwise I’ll just order from Sweetwater and get it shipped. I don’t want to drive to Chattanooga and the guitar I want not be there. It’s a wasted trip. I just want to order and pick it up without having to deal with a salesman. Phew…I feel better now! I just want my Les Paul without messing with anyone.

Y'all need dark mode

The app is great to use, and I only have one complaint- why in heck do you not have dark mode yet? I would use your app to browse more often if I didn't have that bright white light in my face.
I guarantee you I am not the first person to want this, even if I'm the first to say it. The instant you change that, I'll make this a five star review and recc this app to all my musician friends.

Not crazy about it!

this is one of those apps! Full of interesting looking features, but not long on functionality is far as being able to use easily. It seems that simple tasks such as selecting a payment method, entering your information, feel more like extracting teeth then they should. Why and earth do so many people shop elsewhere for instruments? Because they’re apps and websites are so much easier to use, that’s why. You have lots of work to do to clean up this app I may not shop from here again in the

Great staff very helpful

On my last visit to guitar center I purchased a nice vox amp and the staff were instrumental in me making a good decision to purchase the one I did over a more expensive yet not really that useful to me due to my playing type marshall. This is just one occasion out of many where they have steered me back into the right mindset.

really groovy app and tons of groovy deals

I am like really glad I found out about the app, we all know that guitars and equipment can be pretty pricey and with the guitar center app there are like a bunch of deals that could help you save an extra
buck and still get the guitar or amp you are looking for.

Best place ever for any musician to get what you want for a great price and honest deals.

I have shopped at the world over looking at all musical instruments and I have found that this is the only place I get the quality of the product and the people honor their warranty, but they usually have top quality instruments that saves me the time and trouble of getting them to give me another instrument under the warranty anyway. I recommend this place to anyone who plays or wants to start playing an instrument, and you will not be disappointed.

Beware: the “do not sell my personal information” form on the app does not work

I filled it out no less than 5 times. Each time I double checked that all of my info was correct. Each time it did nothing. So I guess there’s no way to stop your personal info on this app from being sold to advertisers.
I tried to talk to someone about it and there’s no chat subjects for this. When I asked to speak to an agent, I was 8th in line and that’s specifically to talk to someone about gear. Useless.

App slow and clunky

I think the app needs an update. Issues are: images don’t load or take too long, search bar is awkward because auto correct engages. This is weird when you have to input model numbers and auto correct keeps “fixing” them. Also, search bar keeps your last search, so you end up typing a new search item which tacks onto your old one. Ex: “12String guitarPro Tools.” Lastly,
app crashed on me. Ended up going to the website. Hope to see this improved soon.

Inconvenience

Can't view past purchases of any kind. Can't view order status or history. When you try to communicate with them, you get no response. When you try to buy something you may not always get it because they'll send you an email saying that it is back ordered or they simply won't do anything BUT they'll definitely charge your Gear card account and good luck trying to get Synchrony and Guitar Center to take it off, forcing you to pay for gear you never bought or have your credit score affected.

SO MANY BUGS JUST USE THE WEBSITE

Ik how so many people have given this app a 4 or 5, the app won’t show your orders, continuously say log in attempt failed even though you already logged in, won’t show any pictures of products when you press them, continuous error messages even if you’re just scrolling through the app, like how is this company allowing to happen on their main app... oh wait they claimed bankruptcy now it makes sense. But forreal just use the website the app isn’t worth taking space up in your phone use your space for like among us or something.
