Ster-Kinekor doesn't care about your privacy
The app is reliant on a person's location. I don't want to give you my location. I want to watch movies. Wherever I want. What if I want to check out (and book) what's playing in Cape Town while I'm in Jhb?
In addition to this, they now require you to log on to get anything done. The old app let me do what I needed to without this impediment.
Guess I'll be using other resources to find out what's out there. Numetro's site doesn't hold me up like this.Show lessRandm nick that I hope no1 has
First impressions
Looks great guys. But shifting entering the loyalty card number before choosing seats is a horrible idea. You have done this on your website as well. My friends and I generally all book together, so I have sometimes up to 9 loyalty cards I need to enter. By the time I have put all the numbers in all the good seats are booked. Your process flow is broken and is going to result in all serious movie watches moving to numetro, as at least then I can get the seats I want on premier night.Show lessGuano117
Terrible! Old app was much better
The old app worked perfectly. It was deprecated with no proper journey to update to the new version. It just kept saying connection failed. I had to go to the App Store and download the new app. Why release a new app when it's worse than the last one??pip_rw
Going backwards...
The new Ster-Kinekor app is 3 steps backwards.
The user interface design and layout is terrible. The navigation is not user friendly.

Previous app was fantastic and always easy to use and my preferred way to book. It suddenly stopped working with no communication of a new app.

Gone backwards
For once change did not bring an upgrade. The experience has taken a user friendly app back towards a slow clunky, confusing experience. Difficult to find a flow in getting to see clearly what is showing at your favorite cinema when. No trailers to view. Buttons not working. Not working for me.Blikkies101
