Bug with calendar says “trades” twice

There’s a bug with the calendar it says “X Trades trades” instead of “X Trades” each day, other than that great app!

App very buggy

I like the online platform and have paid a full annual subscription, but this app simply doesn’t function. When I was logged in, it would not update or sync my data, and then when I try to log out and log back in, clicking the “sign in” button after entering my login credentials just goes back to the login page over and over again. I can’t even get back into my account. This app is worthless.

No iPad Support

It’s useful to have an iPhone app, but I would imagine most traders would be reviewing on an iPad.

No live data

The software is good.

But it doesnt support live unrealized gains.

It dorsnt support closing out trades either. U can either delete or nothing.

To use this basically u need to constantly download reports from ur broker and upload them here to see ur current day to day. Also it is a pain to that coz u have stick to one date.

Not a very good software afterall .. i will nit be renewing my monthly membership

Buggy/slow, HORRIBLE customer service

Their customer service is quite rude, don’t honor coupons that are literally in the app after spending a few hours going through their “tutorial step” challenges. Was about to be a buyer, but not after the service your chat rep provided to me.

Yearly Pro user. Close but a fail :(

I have a yearly pro subscription to this service. Looking at the promotional videos it would seem that it can do everything that is needed to be a truly awesome and useful app. The sad thing is that it has all of the functions, they just aren’t assembled in a useable format. I have sent questions/ improvement requests to support, but they don’t seem interested and only give one line responses. Here is what needs to happen.

1. It already has charting integration with Trading View. But it can only show one trade at a time. If I open and close within a short window, that is all I can see. The fix is to allow the fills for all trades to display on same chart.

2. The trading journal is worthless. They show screenshots and notes as being available to document your progress, but they are tied to each open and close so you can’t just get an overview of what you were doing. Screenshots and notes need to be grouped per symbol per aggregation period (day). I need to be able to read my journal as a human and I need it to include the chart for each symbol with my entry and exits as well as screenshots and notes. As a day trader showing an open and a close that happened within two candles isn’t useful. If I can see that I had 15 fills and the low and 15 covers at the high then I can under and what was going on by looking at the chart.

I REALLY want this to be successful. It imports my trades from TOS, the graphic interface is nice and it provides granular statistics. Unfortunately without useful output it does nothing but show pretty graphics. I can’t recommend this to anyone and won’t be renewing. If the developers want some help with fixing this, I’m happy to provide specific feedback. This is so close to being useful!

Poor customer service

I planned to sign up and sent a message asking about the details of some items listed on the page showing different membership tiers. They sent a 1-line email with a link to the tier page, which is precisely what I referenced in my question. I don’t want to shell out hundreds of dollars for a yearly membership to a company that provides such low level of support.

Very Promising Trading Tracker

The biggest thing I would like the app to support is ROLLS!

All the brokerages track current open positions, but in the case of Calendar or Vertical Spreads where you roll your short options week to week I still have to manually track my net credits collects.

I understand why brokerages need to track each trade by specific option contract/expiration date, however when you plan to have a long option position open several months out and have a strategy to sell front month options to collect theta and/or capture some implied volatility premiums you need to track your open and closed short credits against your long month debit.

I tried a few different ways to report this information in TraderSync however it doesn’t support Rolls or that strategy in general. The math is misreported or at least misrepresented in short form. The credits collected are not reported correctly. Even with manual entry or other manipulations it does not seem to want to report what is needed, (manual manipulation would not be efficient anyways if you have a lot of daily executions).

I chatted with support quite a bit and shared several screenshots. He said he will pass the issues along to the higher ups and he was very helpful for me.

Hopefully that actually happens. I spent a few hours playing and working with the tools to see if I was missing something...

TraderSync is a really nice tool, but in my opinion it really needs to go beyond what my brokerage already allows me to do on the trade management side with my rolling strategies in play. I’m not just buy naked options for wins 100% of the time, everyone knows you have to lose on some positions to control your risk and win overall.

Platform Has Bugs and is Slow

I wanted to like this platform but after using both the online version and the app it became clear very fast that there needs to be more development time. The platform is very slow to load and sometimes you can’t click certain buttons causing you to refresh the page. You can’t expect someone to pay for something that is clearly still a beta product. Also as a trader I need to make sure that the platform I’m using is going to work 100% of the time. Funny thing is when I tried to delete my account there was even a bug that wouldn’t allow me to delete it. There is potential here, but it needs a lot of work.

Great App, does the job

So far the best app put there to track performance.
Love Trader Sync overall.

Time Stamp Bug:
There is a bug regarding time stamp of buy/sell, when entering the trades before 12 everything enters correctly, but trades after 12 are being treated as morning trades.

This is big bug as for day trading sell is treated as first entry even though its afternoon there by counting it as short position and not long. Looks like short and then covered for lower price and results as showing up loss.

(I correct the entry time manually on each afternoon entry to avoid the issue)
