Was amazing, but …
I unplugged my light to clean the lid, and now the app can’t find it. I tried everything …. There is a blue light on in the lid, and it cycles through short cycles of blue to white light (over a few hours) but I cannot set it… it’s crazy they made a light you can’t get a remote for, rely on the app but now the app doesn’t work? I looked it up, ongoing problem for years. I loved fluval but now? Not sure

Needs more work
First and foremost I am a huge huge huge fluval brand freak. But this, this app I absolutely hate. I almost ready to return the light. I am a very ocd person and honestly not being able to get exact times set with the stupid slider is the most dumbest thing on earth. I spent 25 mins to get 1 time point at the exact time that I want. 4 out of 10 points I got the rest forget it. There should be a spot to manually enter in the time, also have an option for 12h or 24h for the time. 3/4 people out in this world doesn't read military. You should also add the time bar that indicates where the time is at during the active live time like there is in the preview. I love the light but unfortunately the app for me is what’s killing the excitement about it. Go with a different brand and just manually do it and get exact on the dot right away not this messing around just to get one time point in 25 minutes then you get get the rest of them. This is huge for ppl with ocd and most fish keeping ppl are. Listen to your customers and make the updates.

Correct sans plus
L’application est correct sans plus . L’ajustement des heures est tellement difficile , je peux pas croire que fluval a conçu cette configuration de cette façon , impossible de choisir nos heures de façon précises. Très déçu .
Fluval app
Like the light. Hate the app! To turn off and off you have to have your phone, which is fine as these days I normally always have my cell phone on me. However, to open app to get to the on/off of the light I have to be standing right next to the tank. I can be sitting in same room just a few feet away and the app will not open. I have to get up and stand next to tank with phone for app to open so I can turn on or off. Also, the preset features are very confusing to set and doesn’t seem to work as I have tried everything! Very disappointed in app which I thought was going to be so cool.

OMG the app
The app is mostly good, but more presets would nice and the time slider in pro mode is terrible, the slider makes it so inaccurate. The light itself is fantastic but due to the light requiring the app for most of its functionality then this is a big fail and the app needs to be fixed. At this price point a little more care should have been shown.

Good app, but where are the days?
I have the plant 3.0 which is a fantastic light. This app is good, but could be so much better. Where are the days of the week? My other lights are on WiFi plug timers which I’m able to control days of the week because my lighting schedule is different on weekends. But this app doesn’t provide this option especially in Pro one would of thought you’d be able to choose days of the weeks and set up different starting/end times etc. it’s a basic non existent feature missing from this app. Otherwise everything else is cool and easy to work with. But the not having week days and weekends is why I’ve rated 4 stars only.

Missing features
I have been using Fluval lights for quite some time, starting with the fluval 2.0 and if the constant thing is that in case of power failure, the light does not keep any setting, you must reconnect with the app or it stays at night setting. Now this app comes about 10 years after the first Fluval app and there is one important setting missing: the global brightness cannot be adjusted!!! You must adjust each light channel individually which is ridiculous. Another missing feature is the settings not being sync in the cloud, if I connect with my iphone, then my ipad or my iMac M3, the settings are not carried over and the light is reset to the newest settings stored on the last connected device. And the last missing feature which is advertised on Fluval website: the Plant nano 3.0 should have 3 habitat light presets which are nowhere to be found in the app.

Not fit for purpose
I got these as I needed to upgrade existing lights. I also wanted something that I could program to make it easier for my neighbour to look after my fish whist I’m on holiday. I’ve had them a couple of weeks. They randomly turn off but would go back on again. I lost connectivity with my phone and had to delete my light setting to fix it. Now when I try to switch from auto to manual it says my light unit is switched off when it is not. I then had to go through a set of instructions from fluval cs to figure out what was wrong. Guess what? They are malfunctioning. 🙄They advised me to go back to p@h online and exchange them. Again another cs rep. Loads more questions. Can’t take them back to a store so am hopefully getting a refund. It’s been a very frustrating experience. Am back to square one.
