Doesn’t work with my iOS !
bought two of the fluval sea 3.0 lights as I thought first one faulty my old iPhone 5s is iOS 10.3 and my iPad and iPhone X are iOS 11.4 it’s like the lights are not compatible with the apple or it’s the app that’s not working on iOS as when I connect on the app I quickly go to my Bluetooth settings it shows the light and says connected but then says failed in the app ? I also can’t search for the light in Bluetooth setting unless am in the app and press connect then it finds the light and says connected but fails in app and some times it connect to the light and once am connected and I press to set times the app closes ? And this happens on my iPhone X iPad and iPhone 5s and it’s really Annoying

Sorry about that.Please set you phone to 24H format, Settings->General->Date & Time enable 24-Hour Time.This is a bug, we will fix it soon.
Good app, however room for improvement
Firstly it would be much better if we could see where the light currently is in its light cycle, much like you can on the AI prime app.
Secondly it would be very nice if the special weather effects were explained so we knew which effect is which.
Other than these issues the app works perfect with my nano marine and aquasky leds and I a very impressed with the new light systems.

App needs more tweaking
I got 3 of these now. An Aquasky on a 30 high and an Aquasky on a 55 gallon tank. Also a Nano Freshwater Plant on a Fluval 9 gallon Flex tank. Works really great, but I wish like previous reviewers there was a timer feature to the overnight settings. I like my blue moon lights to coincide with sunset and then turn off a few hours later as to coincide with moon set. Just add a timer to the setting (like a 1-8 hour range) and it be just about perfect. The only other thing I like to see is the ability to have multiple special effects on different days rather than choosing only one for any number of days in a week. So a couple of days be an almost overcast day, and another couple of days be varying cloud cover.

1. Major issue that needs to be addressed in a software update is the ability to have lights off after a set time in the evening so blue lights don’t have to be on all night. This needs a bit more customisation. I appreciate the blue lights are supposed to mimic the moon but why not allow users to have them on for a while and then off or on (as is the only choice right now) with the auto mode.
2. If you’ve create multiple profiles you have no idea which one you’ve currently selected when the app is open. At the top it should show which saved profile is selected.
3. It often won’t update if you change a parameter and hit save. You have to go back a step and connect the light again before making the change.
