Incredible is an understatement
After a lot of research and taking to Linksys and Netgeae individually I decided to go with the Access Point and Managed POR switches that are cloud managed by their Insight Platform.
I couldn’t be happier. From setup to ease of use of the app. It has been an amazing experience.
Does not work
Anyone know how I can get direct access to Netgear?

Useless App
Then the app scanned my network and only found 1 device out of several and decided it was unregistered. I know for a fact I have registered all my Netgear products through my pre existing account. In attempting to register the product it wanted me to create a whole new network and set up a new hardware password that would override any previous passwords. Are you kidding!??!!?! Why would I want to go through my entire network and local connections to change login details to the new over riding password. My current password should be fine. This was supposed to simply my network management not make it more difficult.
Then I tried to register my Ethernet switches. As before the process failed due to an error!!!! At this stage I abandoned any hope of this being a useful tool

*update* Netgear said to contact them with my information. They confirmed that my Netgear switch and Netgear Nighthawk router are not compatible with this Netgear app. Thanks?

Thanks for your feedback. What was the error message you received when signing in through Facebook? We will look into the password UI and reset email issues for a future release.
