Stupid
Really hard to navigate, nothing even comes up when I search ‘marathon’ into the library. Looks like something that belongs on a website has been crammed into a poorly designed app. It also sends really annoying quotes to my apple watch what feels like every five minutes. I thought this would be a nice addition to my marathon training but it’s just stupid. I have cancelled my free trial

Data and Privacy
To make this, or any app like this, work well for you it requires that you share your health data. When you dig into the privacy policy there are no assurances that your information it secure and when you look up the App Developer there is little to no information about ONgo available at all.
There are many benefits to be sure but the vagueness and hidden trading of my personal health data leaves me deleting the app.

Thoughts on The Run Experience
I haven’t used this app much so far but do plan to. Everyone in customer service is kind and responds to questions quickly. There appears to be lots of training option available and I will be going for the 30 day foundation challenge first then the marathon training as I want to become an ultra runner. I recommend this to anyone to wants help with improving their running abilities.

This really works!
I have been trying to build a running habit for a while. I'm 8 weeks on with this app and going strong. It is such a great mix of resources:
Running coaches you can talk to and ask personalized questions.
Run challenges that vary from beginner to advanced. A huge library!
Techniques like strength training, running form, injury prevention, warm-ups, healthy eating.
The community is great. The coaches are super responsive.
App is a bit gitchy and I'd love to see more features but overall it's great and well worth the cost.

TRE app
Impressive app for those new or experienced in running. It isn’t solely about running- there’s encouraging insights from the community(which stretches the globe) and coaches on fitness, mobility, nutrition etc. For those building up to a 5k or marathon there are daily guides. Thanks TRE
It’s education too.
TRE educates with these plans. They don’t just tell you what to do expecting blind trust. They explain the “why” behind each exercise. It’s my go to, and I’ve been running for 17 years.

This app is loaded with awesome content! It would be better if the app was able to synch with my HRM and also include a metronome. If the app could also integrate with Strava that would be really slick as it would allow me to really amp up the data analytics associated with the training content in the TRE app.
Don’t get me wrong this app is still worth the coin to have access to the community and resources.

Excellent app just needs to be more user friendly
I wish the runs would prompt you like for example when you have to run for 30 seconds then walk for 30 seconds for 5 mins, I wish the app would say run and then after 30 seconds, it would say walk just like the C25k app.
There’s a lot of information in the app, and I think its not organized properly.
And how come the 5k program has you working out 7 days a week? I know i know some of them are drills and breathing work but still.
Its just difficult to use the app, while running i kept looking at my phone.
Otherwise its a great place to learn much more about running!

Worth the quality of programs you get!
GREAT workouts and programs. My only issue is (and I hate complaining about it!!!) is the user experience like others mentioned. The app is super glitchy and often times I just become frustrated and close it down after reading what the workout is. It will skip, pause, or shut down on its own and it’s super disruptive to the flow of your workout. In the end it’s totally worth purchasing for the workouts whether you can play them in real-time or just follow them by reading ahead.

One of the best most reliable sources out there!
I’ve been a runner for years and before that was a competitive swimmer who competed internationally and so I learned a thing or two over the years but TRE has taught me new tips and tricks and done so in a way that explains it all so you can understand the why and not just the what. Highly recommend!!
