Reviews of QLDTraffic

Virtually Useless

Information is not updated quickly enough, while old information is still on the site. It is virtually useless if you are trying to navigate your way around traffic congestion.

Mackay/Whitsunday Traffic/Flood Cameras

Still no flood cameras for Mackay/Whitsunday Region. What is going on TMR? Apparently nothing :( poor response from TMR blaming “remoteness” what the? The cameras along the Bruce Highway near Proserpine like Myrtle Creek and Goorganga Plains etc are not remote and are near mobile towers. Where did you install the other cameras? Llanarth? Seriously TMR Mackay is the worst district to live in, they are terrible compared to other districts.

Accuracy is not timely. No regular updates

To be useful, this information needs to be as close to ‘real time’ as practical. One example that affects me is the roads around Thargomindah and Yowah areas are still shown as closed or 4WD only which was the situation October 2022 - that’s 20 months ago.
