Useless
This app is absolutely useless. I upgraded the Master AP to the latest firmware without issues. For some unknown reason, the Client AP did not upgrade and went offline. The mobile app cannot reset an AP. You have to contact technical support via email. Ruckus no longer provides telephone support for Lennar home clients. They will direct you to confusing and obsolete instructions without videos to reset the AP. You’re at risk of disabling the wifi throughout your house. If it were possible, I’d rate the app at ZERO stars.Show lessPositively Underwhelmed
Ruckus unleashed does not work
This device was installed in my home as part of a SMART package. I would periodically update the app, recently I tried to update as normally would and I received a message saying I was no longer on the Unleashed network. I have not been able to access my application or update it and they does not seem to be any help for this problem. I’m very frustrated with this device.Show lessar01na02
Doesn’t work
My ruckus is stuck on register device. I went to the ruckus web page and registered it. I rebooted the device and it still is stuck on register.
It was suggested I try the app on my phone. I tried to upgrade my home ruckus that isn’t stuck from the app before trying it at the office. The app says failed to fetch versions.
I used to install ruckus for all my clients. I’m thinking it is time I give ubiquiti a try again.Show lessjimbo9913
App is a pain
Trying to access the app is a nightmare. I tried calling support and support won’t help me because I’m a residential owner. They told me I have to go to the forum for Lennar home owners and submit a question on there. Well I followed the instructions of updating my AP via online browser and updated it. But I still can’t login on the app. It keeps saying login failed. I’m at the point of just tearing out my ruckus units and buying a different brand.Show lessScout-nate87
Great, but GUI looks outdated
Great app if you want to quickly check on events or anything that happens on your Network. The app interface, though needs an update, or at least a dark mode.anthony02N
App Is Unusable
App won’t recognize my unleashed network now. Whole system is unusable now, sending back this useless brick of “networking” gear ASAP. if the network design is anything like the app (stuck in 1999), this company isn’t going to be around much longer. My 6 year old special needs daughter could create a better functioning app than this!Show lessbuuddyboy
Not bad - until social login fails….
I have used this app for monitoring sites for years. Generally it’s reliable and good BUT when you can’t log-in with any social platform (the Ruckus preferred way apparently) Ruckus tell you to spend $750 on a support contract and refuse to assist. Never had this with any other brand’s app so be warned if you are going to rely on remote monitoring from your app DO NOT RELY ON THIS. The only way to rectify the “fail to authorise” is to revisit all the sites, jump on the Wi-Fi and re-add them for remote monitoring. Very disappointing IMHO.Show lessHESLtd
Says “not connected” even though I am
Trying to get past the login screen is now impossible bc it constantly says I am not connected to the network even though I am. No way to fix this as of yet.
UPDATE 12-August, 2023: Ruckus says that the login issue can be fixed after I update the firmware on my APs. Question: IF I CANNOT LOGIN BC YOUR APP SAYS I AM NOT ON A CONNECTED NETWORK EVEN THOUGH I AM HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO UPDATE THE FIRMWARE?!?Show lessD-Lish

Hi! Sorry for the inconvenience with the Login with iOS 16. We have fixed this issue with the latest app release BUT you will also need to be on Unleashed 200.14 latest firmware (build 200.14.6.1.199). Please upgrade both the App and Unleashed AP firmware and if you still have issues reach out to us at mobile@commscope.com.App was never good, unfortunately
Carousel effect is laughably bad, limited functionality compared to the Desktop web portal (no downgrade firmware option for example), and has recently started to not recognize my Wi-Fi network as the Unleashed network, so I can no longer log in. Uninstalled, better off using the Desktop version.SoundtrackDan

Reset the AP. Connect per the app instructions to the SSID, but the app says that I need to connect to the AP. Well, I did that. I’ll be sending this garbage back. Not worth the hassle. Oh, and screw you for forcing a contract for basic tech support. As an evaluation for future use on a 6000+ room hotel installation, this product fails out of the gate.
