Do not buy these lights!
These lights and software are complete junk. It’s really too bad zero star reviews aren’t an option. There’s no way any of the positive reviews are legit.
1) Software crashes while trying to update light’s firmware. Every time.
2) IF you can sync the lights, they will ultimately disconnect and you will not be able to reconnect them.
3) Group names will randomly go from the name you select to generic name like group_3.
4) IF you can find or contact to your lights and are able to add them to a group, they randomly unsync and you will not be able to control them.
5) Lights regularly drop out of sync. You will get a message that they are out of range even when you hold your phone inches away.
6) IF you can get the app to sync, it rarely sees all the lights (as in you delete all the lights and start over info a futile attempt to get everything to work together). It’s more likely that you will see few to few to none of them. Pressing the sync button, nothing happens.
7) All of this happens even after going through the reset process, deleting all lights and groups then restarting, and deleting and reinstalling the software.

Color chg-dim lights
Works great! I don’t advise you to use the update feature.. after trying to down load took me a nice min to rest all my lights an get them back, but I did get them back working. They could dim a lil more 😔yoda fikes
App Crashes During Light Firmware Updates
The App crashes each time a light is in the process of a firmware update. This caused one of my lights to go bad. Developers: Please fix the app so it does not crash during firmware updates. I may return all of the lights due to this faulty app.FixTheFoxApp
Lack of updates
You wouldn’t think they would update the app and at least attempt to make it more user friendly and make it work better. I have to turn the blue tooth off and back on, sometimes multiple times to get it to connect to all the lights in a room. Come on CE why sell a product when you don’t update it nor truly support your own product?!jfountai
FIX YOUR APP
i can’t connect to my lights went from CSR_mesh to otua_mesh and the app crashes when trying to update..we’ve had this product for about 3 years and there is always issue with the app...Fix it already!!!! my builds are not blown out but i can’t not connect to turn them on??does that make sense..ddotbx
A few glitches but works good so far
Had a problem while pairing the lights with the app, switching off/on the Bluetooth and WiFi settings on the phone resolved it.Metallikanz
Not working
Every time I try to install the connection it drops the the app and it takes me back to the screen. I tried this a multiple times and does the same thing over and over😡😡mo72272
Horrible garbage
Worked for about a day. Initially lights were recognized and grouped. Do not use the update function! Will not update properly, will crash your app and your light will be frozen. It will say CSRMESH on Bluetooth and you will lose control of light. Resetting light, disconnecting light does not help. I’m sorry if you are reading this right now after you already installed them. Can’t reset
After using the light for two weeks it stoped working. I tried resetting the light but it can't scan the light anymore so i can’t turn it on.jicole12335783

They don’t connect to the phone and on one phone which we did get them connected to when u click a color they don’t change to it or they just shut offmy whip
