Great, Simple App
When I airplay content, the album artwork doesn’t update with the song. It’ll display the same artwork for days at a time, then it’ll randomly update to something I’m playing, then get stuck there too. It’d be cool if this could get updated.
This is more of a personal preference and wishful thinking, but I wish loudness was a toggle within the sound profiles rather than the separate sound setting tab. I honestly wish they weren’t separate and I could tune treble, bass, and loudness for each of the profiles instead of an overall blanket setting.
Solid App with a Few Quirks
However, I’ve noticed a few quirks when using the app with my Tidal subscription. If I go to a playlist, unless I hit the “play” button and let it run, I can’t skip to the next song if I manually select one. It only plays that one track, which is a bit strange. I’m hoping this is something that can be addressed in future updates.
One thing I do love is that the sound quality through this app seems better and louder than when using Tidal’s own app. I’m curious why that is—does the app deliver higher sound quality or use a different frequency range? I’d love more clarity on this since I prefer using your app for that reason.
That said, I wish the app allowed me to download playlists for offline use. Since the music sounds better through your app, I’d much rather use it over Tidal’s own, but I travel frequently and don’t always have phone signal. It would be great if offline playback could be added in a future update.
All in all, I enjoy the app and just hope these issues can be resolved in future versions!
