  • Great game until ...

This is a lovely game — beautiful graphics and soundtrack — with an emotional story that’s told so well without any dialogue. The puzzles make you think outside the box and challenge you to reimagine the journey. My only issue is that the game gets stuck for me and I don’t know if this is a bug or an issue with what I’m doing. I get to a scene where the Old Man climbs into a truck, and after a series of puzzles to get the truck rolling, the screen turns into a cut scene of him traveling on the truck and just stays there. No more advancement, no more puzzles or interaction, just the old man in a yellow truck traveling down the road. This is disappointing because I’d love to see how this story ends!

  • Inspiring and heart-touching!

I really loved the story line. From the beginning until the end I enjoyed every single moments. Excellent job to the developers!! Looking forward to more games from you guys! If you don’t mind, may I have your permission to write a story about this game? I will give credit to you developers who worked so hard to invent such a wonderful game. Thank you so much!! ❤️👍🏼

  • Beautiful Game

This is a wonderful immersive game or as some have said experience. This isn’t your ‘traditional game’ set up its high-bred gaming using interactive storytelling, perhaps best skipped if your the impatient type as half the beauty of it is the gentle and peaceful pace and tone of the game which I for one throughly enjoyed. If you appreciate beautiful and well thought out craftsmanship then this game is for you. I am a big fan of Machinarium and Monument Valley and I will be definitely adding this one to my list.

  • A nice adventure.

This game is a nice adventure. The scenes are wonderful. It plays out the life of an old man, who was a French sailor. The puzzles are intriguing. Overall it's a good experience but it could be longer. The game doesn't last very long. There are not many levels. The environment is wonderful, like you are in a scenic painting but the view is not worth the $4.99. I hope there is a sequel with more new levels or else buyers remorse will eventually set in. Oh, by the way, here's a spoiler. You'll love the end of the old man's journey. Here's a clue as to what the subject matter is: 💀
Overall it's a fun but short ride.

  • Sweet story

You figure out early on why the old man is on this journey, but you learn along the way of all the choices he made in life, that left him sad and lonely in old age. It’s a cute game, however it wasn’t all that challenging and not long enough to experience much. I would’ve liked to see more interactive objects, people, etc. I would’ve also enjoyed being able to choose multiple paths and cross different terrains... for a true journey experience.

  • Visually satisfying

After seeing a video if this game online, I had to purchase it. Visually, the graphics are beautiful. The design team done a fantastic job capturing the warm nature of this game with their pastel like artwork. The music does week to blend it all together.

My reason for not give it 5 stars is down to the repetitive aspect. After a few levels you soon realise it’s going to be the same throughout. However, it’s worth the money I paid for it.

  • Beautiful, but dull.

This is a visually beautiful game, though the mediocre gameplay and storytelling detract. It would, however, make a delightful addition to a repertoire of games to keep any little ones busy!
  • A beautiful experience.

This is not a very challenging “game” as some reviews seem to harp on. What it is though, is a beautiful story, with clever visuals, and thoughtful user interactions, that combine to create an experience. If you’re not all cold and dead inside, it’s a nice way to spend some time without buying gems or coins. I’d pay $4.99 for a sequel in a split second. Thank you very much to the developers and everyone involved in making this happen. I really appreciate it.

  • Boring

    Sent me to sleep
  • Relaxed, enjoyed every second

To enjoy the game you have to calm down, relax, and just enjoy the scenery and experience. The game's not about figuring out tough puzzles, which is why the puzzles are pretty easy. It's all about the journey, and the story. If you get it expecting it to be a hard puzzle game or a fast paced game, you will be let down. If you just appreciate it for its beautiful music, story, and scenery, you will have a fantastic experience like I did. It's not boring at all.

Anyways, the graphics are probably the best part of the game, each area's art is so impressive.

Definitely get the game, just know that you're not getting a hard puzzle game :)
