  • Can’t Log In

Changed my password and then couldn’t log in... I’m concerned about their technical competency.
  • You lose the work of long diary entries

It’s still annoying that the iOS app doesn’t allow you to submit more than 1000 characters into an entry and after presenting an error, it doesn’t let you back into the text field shorten it. You basically have to cancel out of it and lose the work of such a long entry. I guess I could compose my long entries in a notepad and then copy it over to Timeular each time afterwards, but that doesn’t seem to be a natural flow or convenient for me. I asked support about this last year and they acknowledged it without a workaround, and it’s still seems to be the case this year.

  • No iPadOS app?!

The concept seemed good so I downloaded the app to give it a go. Glad I didn’t buy the tracker! My primary device is my iPad Pro, which is a productivity beast, so I assumed that such a known productivity software would have iPadOS support, but no: Simply an iPhone-sized window rotated the wrong way, sitting on my screen. Forget buying a $70 device, the free app just isn’t ready yet for me without iPad support.

  • Love it!

I really love this little app and gadget! I work in an agency so I need to track my time accurately. This does the trick!
  • Paid for Nothing

Nice concept but it just does not work. Time is not logged properly in the app. I would rather not pay for beta software
  • Looks nice on my phone but clunky on ipad

This app is pretty nice on the phone. I like the simplicity of it and the visualizations are pretty nice as well. My main issue is that I try to not have my phone out very often during the day and work on my iPad. The iPhone app can run on the iPad but it looks terrible and only works in portrait mode, which is garbage if you use a keyboard.
Not using it any more. If they ever come out with an iPad version I will come back to it.

Worth noting, this may not be as much of a thing if I was using the device that goes with it, since I could stash my phone and it would do the recording. I’m just not willing to pay that kind of money for something that doesn’t work the way I want it too. I should be able to peak at the data on my iPad mid way through my day. I much prefer working with my iPad than my phone. With an iPad app (not just a blown up version of the iPhone app) I would easily give this thing a 4.

    Developer Response

Hello, we now have a dedicated iPad app available in the Apple App Store
  • Love the tracker, with the app was iPad friendly

I love using the tracker with my laptop and even the app on the iPhone, but on iPad, it’s tiny and unusable. I’d love to see an iPad version that matches the features of the desktop version!
  • Great concept, hoping for better connectivity

This concept is awesome and I am hoping this gets better at staying connected because I am hoping to track distractions better... other than the distraction of trying to keep this device connected.

In the meantime, I’ll try tracking in the app on my computer and iPhone. I would love if this also had a watch version of the app. That way I could switch topics while away from my desk without having to use my phone.

  • Needs a lot of work

This app needs a lot of work. I can’t set the activities properly without it glitching out. I can’t delete activities without them magically reappearing without prompt. I can’t “forget” device. I can’t start over. It’s basically a trash app. It’s quite unfortunate as I won’t be able to utilize the tracker at all now.

    It’s going back.

  • App works well, but must remain open to be used with tracker

Thought tracking cube wasn’t working. In fact the app just has to remain open in order to register a change in tasks. This is somewhat annoying as I habitually close all open apps. That being said, I expect this is a hardware limitation on how Bluetooth connections interact with apps. Beyond that though, the app still doesn’t always recognize when the cube is flipped.
