Pleasantly surprised
I was skeptical at first on how well this item would work on my bedroom curtains which are very large and heavy but to my surprise after a little tinkering and getting it setup, it opened closed my curtains very well. Hopefully this unit will last for years to come! Also, Trung Pham (CEO of Axis) was very prompt on answering all my questions. Good Job!

Poor software, questionable hardware
I purchased 10 of these, and foolishly installed nearly all of them before discovering it’s nowhere near ready for prime time. The firmware update process just doesn’t work. Every blind has forgotten its schedule and no longer do anything, unless you manually wake up the Axis. Grouping is a feature that’s planned, but dependent on a new Bluetooth standard (don’t hold your breath). Like many of my Kickstarter purchases, I had high hopes for this, but I’m full of regret now. The support is relatively responsive, but you can only work with their engineers from 9-5, which is not helpful if you have a job.

Waste
Bought two of them and one worked for two days then quit the other never worked at all. And no customer service at all
Doesn’t work
The saved schedules do not work! I have two saved schedules one to open each day and one to close. The open one has never worked and the closed one has now stopped working! Also the gear is very slow and noisy and struggles to open my blind
Not impressed
Product came in a nice box, hardware looked like it was made of good quality product. Reasonably easy to install. Noisy motor/ mechanism when activated. After 3 weeks of very infrequent use, it stopped working. Now it will not even turn on. I need to return this. Not worth it.
Disappointed
I was so excited about this product. However, I installed the unit and now can’t even get the app to stay open. Support has no links for the app crashing. Trying to join the Community to see if others are having trouble but stuck in a loop that someone already is using my email.
Device works, app is crapp
App has major problems. It frequently asks to Pair with device (Bluetooth), and frequently fails to connect even with iPhone up right beside the device. [Developer has updated the app and connection seems to work better and more consistently, but still won't connect at times].
When multiple devices are used to control the blinds, the app doesn't reflect the true status of blinds.
Slider doesn't work very well, and on iPad it is incompletely shown on the screen. [Developer update doesn't seem to have fixed this yet].
Programming is poor. Got the device to automatically close the blinds but it would not open them again four hours later. [Update seems to have made things worse on this from before - now program doesn't work at all - even after deleting all my programmed times and writing new ones the programming does not work at all].
Great concept let down by very poor app. [I'll upgrade my star rating by one because developer is reacting quickly, but to get more stars they'll need to get things actually working properly].
Just downloaded the latest update to App and firmware. Slider seems to work now. On iPad full slider doesn’t show on screen, and down arrow is missing.
No way to test the programming as the App quits on both iPhone and iPad when I try to add a movement.

Zero Stars If I Could!
Warning! I backed this company online and for a subpar product with terrible app functionality. After MONTHS of waiting for a simple app update the product is still rendered useless. I urge anyone to please not ever buy from this company or use their products. They simply don't work as advertised, are a complete hassle and waste of time, money and energy for what should be a relatively easy execution. Buyer beware!
