Steps
good app one issue you have to have your phone or watch on at all time to have steps accumulated even when adding data in health app and importing it into the app it won’t load the steps.
Best free app for family competition
This is the best free app I’ve found that’s simple enough for the whole family to use. Some recommendations that would make it even better:
1. Last updated info - would like to see the timestamp for when a friend has last updated their steps by opening the app.
2. Alerts - optional alerts when a friend has passed you in steps
3. Manual adjustment calc - this may be a bit niche but my family has a mix of Apple Watches and Fitbits. Fitbits give 30% more steps than Apple Watches (we have tested on multiple occasions), would love to be able to manually adjust steps to compensate.

Best UI for tracking daily/weekly steps with friends
I have been using with close group of friends for over year. The user interface is simple and efficient, no clutter like other setup apps it’s called “Social Steps “ for the right reason and does exactly as it’s labeled! Chapeau and thanks for making this app!
My Community
I’ve been apart of Social Steps for a week now and I am really enjoying it. I am very active in church and recently I have encouraged church members to join the app so that we can keep up with our health. This app is a great way for me to keep up with the community of members that we have at church to make sure they are staying active on a day to day basis. I rate this app a 5 star!

message chat
app is great !! but would be even better being able to send messages to the people you've added
Awesome app, and I heard the developer answers needs!
Love the simplicity of this app! My whole team just signed up to use it so we can collectives move more! While we can see all our friends activity, it would be better if we have the function to create groups! Thus creating a stronger sense of community - maybe even add on weekly leaders board and the likes. Thank you!

Awesome!! Just what we needed
This is just what we were looking for to get a step
Challenge started at work. This keeps us all motivated to keep moving now that we can see how many steps we are all up to each day. Haven’t had any problems, thank you

!!
Can’t lie, it’s helped me become more motivated to start walking daily cause apparently I’m a competitive? LOL !! Pretty simple and neat !
Love this!!!
So far I’m loving this app and its pushing me daily. I did have a question. Is it possible to create a sub group of friends? If not, are friends able to see data of everyone on my application?
Response from developer
It’s currently not possible to create own groups. Your friends cannot see the data of your friends, but you can see what friends a friend has (this is new in the last version).
Wishing there was more to it!
I love this app especially by being able to connect to my social friends online as well.
I wish there was just more to it like giving eachother messages and appreciation points or likes or something on accomplishments.
But overall it’s really fun to be able to share your step counts. :)
