I have been trying the same for last many days still get the same response. They need to update and make this app more user friendly as well.Raysaini
Well functioning App….But
Dear SBI team. As a NRI its an absolute pain to install this app and get it to work on my international number as it requires mobile number verification. Some recommendations/feedback below:
1. Why does an app needs a mobile number verification. If i have two phones that i carry then i cant have the app on both phones?? Please think this through. Login and OTP (via email and message) is more than enough for security. This will make life easier.
2. The app is too cluttered (less than your website portal) - take note from some of the other international digital banking apps - the best one i have found is Monzo. Its a good idea to be inspired.
I understand its build to be one stop shop for everything but a large population in India is new to digital banking and they are overwhelmed by so many options and things that you could just via your app, in their heads more things can go wrong. Hence less people get onboard. So review your apps UI for a simple experience. (More so for your website it’s appalling!)

Registration not working
This App is not working at all. It asks to send an sms within 5 seconds and after sending sms, it shows technical issues prompt. End up sending multiple international sms for this purpose in vain. Please do not release app without proper testing, that is the first rule of any application which SBI failed to follow !!Show lessSKPandalam

Pathetic app from pathetic bank
The bank is no doubt worst in the world and what more can you expect from the app itself. Been trying to register for my account after installing the app since forever , every single time it shows technical error. Raised a caee request with customer service team, no result.

Cannot register
Very frustrating, ‘message cannot be sent’ from overseas on overseas mobile number. Should have alternate registration process or message should be sent from SBI’s end to registered costumers like other major bank overseas. Also SBI YONO app need lot of improvements and app should be simple to use.ND1122321
SIM registration for NRIs doesn’t work
tried sending sms multiple times but timed out each time with Error 500 technical error. Try again later. Have given up!Could never use
App error
Error shows up while trying to get into the app. Closed and reopened it multiple times but of no use.ajnmkh
SBI Online and App are Crap
This app is developed by Satan himself. This will drive you nuts no end. Apple should not allow such terrible apps on their AppStore for the sake of the mental sanity of their users.
So frustrated with the online banking experience of SBI. Their online banking website is horrible. They made it impossible to login and access your accounts thinking they are keeping it secure. I doubt if they do any kind of user experience testing on their crappy website. I was hoping this app would be better. But I can’t even register after wasting many international SMS texts. Looks like nobody cares about customers at SBI. Sad story as with all of Indian public sector companies.Show lessjayem01
