  • Great stove, NOT smart app.

    This app is TERRIBLE. Absolutely not smart at all! Needs a complete redesign in order to work decently. Very disappointed with the settings and user interface. This app could be smart but instead it’s just plain stupid!
  • Temp adjustment on the app

    I wish the temperature adjustment on the app would stay at the specified room setting instead it randomly goes up to something like 154 degrees
  • Motherboard died

    My motherboard died. Johnathan was able to diagnose and they sent me the parts. It was an easy fix thanks to Johnathan,
  • It’s only just okay

    Sure, it works. But it is definitely not very ‘smart’. The main issue I have is that the app schedule feature does not seem to really know if the stove is on or off. Every event you set in the schedule will simply tell the stove to do the opposite of what state it is in. Example. The stove is off, which is as it should be in your schedule. You come home early and manually turn it ON. You have a scheduled event to turn ON at 3pm. At 3pm… it’s already on, and the app turns the unit OFF. Pretty dumb and such an easy fix.
    So… it certainly works, but this ain’t Ronco. You can not set it… and forget it. It requires constant monitoring

  • Setting and app

    Every time I go to open the app it says it’s not connected. It’s five feet from the Wi-Fi and the Wi-Fi says it is connected?

    Also in settings for Fan there’s three different settings all with a -20 to a +20 what are these for. There is nothing in the manual that shows what these are for.
  • Pellet Stove

    This thing puts out tons of heat and I can turn it on from the app and get the garage nice and toasty before I head out!
  • It works

    I’ve been using the app for almost a year. The app works great but the overall design could use some work.
    The power button should be placed at the top or anywhere else except the bottom of the screen. I lost count how many times I’ve accidentally shut the stove down just by swiping up trying to exit the app having to wait for the cool down process to finish before restarting.

    I doubt anyone from the developing team ever reads these reviews so getting a updated version probably won’t happen.

    But over all I it’s nice to be able to control the stove from anywhere.

  • Doesn’t work needs fixing

    The app resets the temperature to an ungodly degree 189+ depending on the day.. it’s frustrating to have to change that all the time. Additionally it says the app need to be updated and there’s no update available.
  • Is it really worth it/the hassles

    Installed within a week of purchase and followed instruction manual to the T. Got smoke after starting up which is understandable and worked fine for about 45 minutes or so and then an alarm sounded, the system shut down and so I figured this is normal according to the manual but the screen did not display the shut down sequence nor the “goodbye” instead the touch screen became useless; it gave a code 21 of which it’s nowhere to be found within the manual. My phone that I had connected stated code 5, I checked the system and cleaned then restarted it. The screen did not change code and was inoperable; I have to use my phone to turn system on and off. After adjusting temp to 70 the system read on screen and on my
    phone:set to 70 degrees
    Actual temp: 77 degrees
    Actual house thermostat showed 84
    The touch screen is locked on Celsius temp and the status shows all 999999999 on everything;
    Like I said useless. I tried 4 times resetting my WiFi and starting system over (rebooting) and nothing changed. Also, when I completely shut down my WiFi the screen showed still in WiFi. My phone had no wifi and yet this unit showed full signal. I understand the system is new and bugs need to be worked out but at least have a better trouble shooting guide in the back of the manual; And maybe a 24/7 online assistance in my case the system was installed on a Saturday and I have to wait till Monday to hopefully get this unit working correctly. If the system would work the way it should, I’d give it 5 stars all day long. When it worked, it put out some great quality of heat and maintained output until it shut down on its own with code 21. And the thermometer doesn’t seam to be reading accurately since connecting. Hope to hear some good news tomorrow instead of returning this unit and going with a different brand.

  • Malfunctions causing house to fill with smoke

    The app will automatically reset the temperature to a lower temp which causes the pellet stove to completely shut off and stop venting. This resulted in my house being filled with smoke twice. The app is overall just super glitchy and settings revert back to the factory settings once you exit the app.
