Why can’t I activate the remote

Fist time using Homewiz

I bought a Grundig GR 7700 (blue tooth) at curry’s for our house. All I can say is connecting isn’t rocket science, yet. It is not simple for a person who is slow and not technical. Takes about 5-10 minutes (3/5 mins at max when you have an account made already with HomeWiz.

I hope the app improves. Seems a little glitching at first. You must follow the instructions to enable blue tooth connection. Most are not doing that and are complaining.

I will start looking out for whatever HomeWhiz has to offer

Doesn’t connect, no matter what you try

Very technically able user, but I cannot get this to work no matter what I try. Also I hate the fact you have to provide your email address and personal info in order to start to use this app. Anyway, I can add a device to my account, but it remains in a continuous “trying to connect” state with the device. Tried absolutely everything multiple times to connect, and on multiple devices too. The app is completely shoddy, no support, no decent FAQ articles. Nothing works, including their website as I tried contact via the online web form, but the “send” button for the form doesn’t even work. I can’t see any email address where I can get help.

Please provide an email address in response to this review.

In summary; this is an absolutely ridiculous app. I can’t believe Beko have partnered with this sub par scam company. If I could give this experience -100 stars I would.

How do I connect the appliance to WiFi and activate the remote control feature?

The Bluetooth connection fails frequently and I cannot seem to connect the device to WiFi and no matter what I do it says the remote control feature is off. I really need some tech support but the website wouldn’t send the message and the app text customer service feature did not reply either.

Not happy with the amount of personal information this app requires to operate. Deleting it.

Can't register

I can't create account! "Registration failed/not valid email" is displayed when clicking complete registration.

Downloaded app but didn’t proceed. Washing machine doesn’t need my D.O.B.

Sorry, but why does my washing machine need to know my date of birth to operate? Does that mean it will only operate for me and not other household members with a different date of birth?
I just, but too much personal info requested to sign up for an account to run this app a d that is a dealbreaker for me. Should only need serial number and the wifi connection. Too much possibility for spam/data hacking to justify activating this feature. A shame, coz the washer is otherwise excellent.

Do not connect to remote on washer dryer

I manage to connect to remote just once, and after that impossible to connect phone to the machine, it shows on the app that device is connected, asking to switch on the remote controlling, but when I try to do that just gives me 3 beeps and not switching on. By some miracle it did connect once, but after washing was finished it's not working any more. Tryed to reset phone, delete device and add it again, delete the app, reset the washing machine, but unfortunately nothing worked :(

Very buggy

The concept is great but I find the actual app so buggy. Used to have issues connecting where I had to force close the app and restart. If you set the washer from the app it shows the start and end time for the cycle. If your phone locks, when you unlock your phone again the start time shows the current time you just unlocked your phone at.
Latest bug which is more of a biggie which is really annoying me.... the “wizard” doesn’t work. As soon as I connect to my washer and click on wizard, the app crashes/closes. I’ve forced closed the app, restarted my phone etc. Doesn’t work! Worked previously.....
