Amazing, but when will there be new stuff?
I got this for Christmas in 2017 and instantly got it out and played with it for hours while I waited for my new video games to download on my Xbox. I love it, it’s like nerf without the darts! I would give this 5 stars but since it has almost been a year later and there is no new guns or accessories. Maybe they will get something out before this Christmas but I haven’t seen anything new. Fun, but super glitched
I love recoil, and I got it for my birthday. But now, it is really glitched. One time, i got hit by three radioactive strikes in a row. Also, when I play capture the flag, it always glitches the flags out of bounds from the range of the hub. Also, it glitches the game so you can’t respawn, or capture a flag. One last thing is the compass pointing you to where something is. It really doesn’t work and I just walk in whatever way I think it isShow lessDylan Kirch

Absolutely awesome!! I bought this game on a whim at Walmart. I’m glad I made this bye. I watch videos of people playing and how they’re doing it wrong. When you get out of range just walk back into range you don’t have to reset your phone. This can be an epic game! If anything if they put in the closing circle like in PUBG it would be even better!Show lessSlyrider59
Absolute Worst Game Ever
I thought this game would be fun considering I played it with my friend and it worked fine. I decided to buy it on sale for $30. It started out fine, but it is so hard to actually get into one single game. The connecting, the game hub, etc. But when I’m actually playing the game, it tells me I’m out of range of the hub when I’m 15 ft away from it. What are we supposed to do, just stand there like idiots just shooting and hoping the opponent dies first! Don’t even get me started with the grenade. The app tells me to pair the grenade to my gun in a match by holding the DETONATE button. Can you guess where that ended up. I was trying to pair it to me and I blew myself up😐. And when it comes to actually throwing the grenade, half the time it says “DEPLOYING GRENADE”, and I throw it right in front of my friend and it blows up and doesn’t even harm him. The other half of the time it doesn’t even start the detonation. This could possibly be the worst game ever. I would give zero stars if I could. Works great if you are sensible...
You need to approach this like any other app that requires lots of simultaneous bluetooth pairings and wifi connections. Be prepared to restart the app, and possibly the phone if it hangs. It has more to do with background apps and your physical surroundings than the app itself.
Kill all unnecessary background apps before pairing. If it hangs restart the app. I have connected over a dozen phones and up to 6 simultaneous players and the app will hang during setups sometimes as it waits for another background app to stopping trying to send data via the recoil hotspot. You need to keep this in mind. You phone OS may be messing it up because you have a bunch of junk trying to send data.
I got it to work every single time with these steps, and gameplay has been fluid and flawless.

SO MUCH FUN!
I just got Recoil today, and since then I’ve played nonstop because of how much fun it is. Haven’t seen any issues at all yet other than some connection issues, but that was indeed my fault not the app’s. This game has some serious potential if the creator can get a patent and create more weapons if variety. The build of the weapons is great too. Real sturdy plastic with only some minor manufacturing issues, such as the rear reticle being off center, though it makes no difference. I would love to see this game get real big someday, because I can see it getting there someday. If you’re reading this Skyrochet, please don’t leave this game in the dust. I was able to get my sister hooked on it, and she never likes this kind of stuff, so she’s picking up the rogue tomorrow. Seriously this game is so much fun and has some seriously extreme potential. Good Game, few bugs
We purchased this game and played an indoor 1v1 skirmish round and it was fine. However, when we decided to play a 2v2 capture the flag outside at a park, the flag positions constantly changed and the original respawn areas weren’t working. Overall I like the game system but some features need to be improved. The Map, respawn areas and range of the game hub. Still a good game though.Show lessLaserdude17
This is fun hands down
I’m a 27 year old #shamelessgamer and I can speak from experience that recoil is fun. My wife and I ran around the house with huge grins on our face as was hid, tiptoed and ambushed one another. The guns have a cool recoil feature and you have the ability to call in air strikes. I paintball and play many FPS this is a happy medium for those like my wife to have fun doing things people like myself love.
