  • It never even worked

So I have the iPhone 6s, everything was working fine in the phone, but the app is telling me first it can’t connect to the hub, then when I was trying to fix it most just made a worse because it couldn’t connect to the weapon or the hub thing. It worked on my friends phone just fine and just it stopped. So I don’t now if it was a thing with my phone (which for once I really don’t think it was) or the app but whatever is going on I’d really like it to be fixed. (I would give this no stars if I could btw.)

  • Good but could use some improvement

Pretty good. Connection is pretty good on my end but I know other people have some issues with that. Definitely more basic settings to game modes that could be added such as health adjustments, number of spawns per player, and reload time. Also the option to choose when to respawn to avoid spawn glitches.

  • Too fun

The setup of this was a little long but i think it was totally worth it, we cannot get enough of it. Good inside and outside but i prefer outside for a bigger field to play on. The only downside to me is that to set it up takes a while and you have to get 16 batteries that it doesnt include.
  • Ugh

The only reason I’m giving this app three stars in the first place is because I think the concept is great. To make a game that can be played virtually while real at the same time world wide?! Remarkable idea. It’s just the fact that the technology going with this product isn’t advanced enough to where it’s fully reliable. Since the last update things have been sketchy, glitchy, and slow. Reception for the gps is pretty darn bad and the compass thingy is way to slow. The only fun I really got out of this was annoying my mom with the gun (lol). Again, great concept and I think it could be improved to run better. If you can do that, it’ll be a world wide hit for sure.

    Best wishes,

  • Exhausting!!!

My son requested this for his birthday. Everyone had a very exhausting day. All the players had no problem setting up. First game was awkward. We all got the hang of it on the second play. Hours of play time if you turn the recoil option off. The hub suggests 3.5’ elevation but I placed it 10’ high. 8 players with blasters on an acre of land and no one lost connection to the hub. It’s ideal for nerf enthusiasts without all the clean up and setup. Managing everyone is simple with the the app tracking shots. Running out of ammo is easy if you camp. Walking around you happen across ammo and armor. There are crates the have upgraded the include air strikes, biological weapons and land mines. After purchasing the equipment and already having a smart phone it set me back a few hundred but it was well worth it. Keep the improvements coming. Going to purchase a few grenades soon.

  • Great when it works (please respond)

There are ALWAYS an issue so we never can play a fun game. We can never resolve them no matter how hard we try

    1. There is a glitch or problem with the guns where when you fire 3 or so bullets it reloads without me pressing the reload button ( I even watched the reload button while it reloaded without me pressing it)

    2. Sometimes one RANDOM phone out of the 4 phones we use can’t connect and we have no idea why

At least one of two things happen every time we play, the most recent time I played it both things happen.

Besides those issues the game is pretty fun but again after the first game we always have an issue

Can the company respond to my issues to try to fix them? 😕

  • I want it to see it do better

I haven’t really played it yet but I can say that it has gotten better for me to play it since the other update. Sure, there will be some bugs here and there but it’s to be expected from something like this. I’m giving it 5 stars not only because I like using the product, but also I just want to see it do better in terms of ratings and sales. Please, PLEASE, keep updating this game and keep it fresh for people who are experiencing problems. (P.s. don’t go behind buildings during a game, you WILL have issues depending on the phone.)

  • My childhood dreams come true!

The software side can be buggy sometimes but the Recoil guns are great fun. We had a few disconnection problems and GPS accuracy isn’t precisely accurate, but those minor issues didnt ruin our playing experience. We have so much fun playing and cant wait for more game modes. I hope they continue developing and supporting the app!

  • Buggy, slow, battery drainer

Regret the hundreds of dollars I spent on these. Kids were excited, but after a couple of days they couldn’t care less. I don’t think the hardware or app developers care either. At the time of this writing, the app hasn’t received a single update in over 3 months. And it desperately needs it. For anyone on the fence, don’t purchase. Maybe wait for their second generation version. Something with a smoother app, better hub and guns with built in rechargeable battery. First gen is counting on the software guys to fix major issues and no one is doing that.

  • Pretty cool, but has a better potential

Takes 15-30 minutes to setup one starter pack, which is not bad. It was too cold to play outside, so we did indoor skirmish. It said it used augmented reality, but I didn’t see any AR on my screen but that's cool tho. But as others have pointed out, the true potential lies in going in your backyard or neighborhood cul-de-sac and doing story mode with like a zombie invasion with AR or something. It should be like halo or SpeedRunners or most Xbox games: a story mode, with online or local multi-player. I want to be able to have a one person or co-op story mode, be able to connect my wifi hub to the internet and play with AR with my friend who lives on the other side of the country, and of course, the same local multi-player it has now.

Finally, one question: what is the AR tag for?
