Additionally, the support provided is lacking, with feedback being met with a defensive attitude. Moreover, users are unable to access their own library from the root folder, even if it's stored in their iCloud account. Essentially, enjoying comics through the app requires sacrificing storage space, and to exacerbate matters, personal server files must also be downloaded to function. Great app….
Been using this app for 2 years and I like it, it’s great and has everything I need but the last update has caused the app to not just crash but crash my entire phone for some reason?
I open a cbz file, scroll through the chapters and my entire phone crashes, it’s repeatedly doing this no matter what I do.

3.3.0 had a memory consumption issue but it has been fixed in 3.3.1. Please, install the latest version and it should work correctly.

Brilliant Comic Book Reader
Easily my favourite app on iOS! It looks great, has lots of great features, and is ad free. What I love the most is that it syncs my reading location between devices. This is a must have app for any comic book fan!
Consistent…ly broken.
The reader (you know, the core part of the app) always seems to have some issue. The long prevailing one for me is the “vertical scroll lock” bug where when reading a vertical scrolling format piece of media, it will simply lock up and stop you from scrolling until you bring up the page carousel and tap on the page you’re on to fix the issue. Seems minor, but when you’re reading single chapters in a binge and it happens consistently 3/4 of the way through every chapter; it gets old fast. You’d also think it’d be fixed pretty quickly…. But it’s been over 2 months since my original support email detailing this bug with no response nor app update notes addressing it. Relegating me from a daily user to someone who checks every so often to see if the issue has been fixed. When it does, if it can just remain consistent for the amount of time I’ve been waiting for a fix I’ll come back with 5 stars. Until then, not so much.

As a small team of only 2 indie developers, we do our best to fix issues as quickly as possible, but sometimes it takes longer than we would like. Panels is incredible!
This all is honestly great, it does everything you need it to while looking great and operating smoothly. The reader has all the features you’d want, and ur supports the majority of formats that you’ll get comics/manga on online. The app euros how you’d expect, if you close the app while reading, you can reopen it and go right back to where you are reading. It’s really easy to import your content, and once it’s imported its easy to find what you want to read with the apps simplistic but gorgeous, and functional interface. This is a 10/10 app, it’s just so great.

Great, but crashes a bit
I’m really enjoying this app, the only thing keeping me from paying for it is that it crashes a lot. When it’s working though, it’s great.

This is what you're looking for.
Fantastic app all around. A variety of file types are compatible. It's got a clean look and feel to it. Dark mode and no ads.
The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five, is because occasionally the app will skip a few hundred pages forward in your book when you switch between your other apps and come back. Super annoying having to search for your last read page.
Devs, I wish I could turn off whatever feature is causing the problem. I don't usually ever need to skip my whole book. And I don't know anyone else who needs that function.
One page at a time would be great. That is all..
