  • Just a few flaws

Personally, I love this app so much. The daily quotes and questions it asks me are always so helpful and they are a great way to start my day. The check-ins are also a great feature to keep track of how you are feeling daily. There are just a couple of features I would change:
First of all, the little reminder thing that tells you that you only have so many hours to upgrade to the premium or whatever it is called is so fake and is so obnoxious when you just want to open the app and pour out your feelings. To fix this, I think there should be an option that says “Don’t show this again” or something similar so you can get rid of it if you don’t want the upgrade. Secondly, I find it very frustrating that I can’t answer the questions I missed from previous weeks. For example, this Saturday I was very busy with a sporting event so I could not answer the question. Then the week switched on Sunday and I never got a chance to answer the question. To fix this, I think you should be able to access questions from previous weeks through the page that has a sun at the bottom (what I consider to be the Home Screen).

Thank you for reading my review. I am very grateful to the creators for creating this amazing app and would much appreciate it if you could fix these flaws for me. Have a wonderful day, God bless you.💙

  • Great! But...

This app is great. It has all you need to have a motivational day. I love the fact that Reflectly has so many quotes you can just keep scrolling and scrolling and there will be a different quote every time. So much to do! But... I have one concern. I recently have enabled the ‘Biometric Passcode’ setting. Ever since I enabled this, there has been a minor bug where every 2 minutes (or so)that I’m on the app, it tells me that I need to do the finger ID. AGAIN. It’s annoying because sometimes when I’m writing an entry, the bug pops up... so can you please fix this?? ALSO! To anyone who thinks they have to buy Reflectly, you don’t!!! (You can still buy stuff in the app, but the main features are still free to everyone.) I know this because I have recommended this app to numerous friends and family, and a lot have said that they have to pay for it, and they didn’t want to buy it. But actually it’s completely free, but an ad always pops up when you open the app. All you have to do is scroll all the way down and there will be a little button that says, ‘NO THANKS’ and you just press it and create your account!! (Or I guess if you already have an account, you can just log in...) I hope this review was helpful!

  • Deleted my emotions

I added a bunch and half were deleted. Idk how many I’m limited to or if they count “archived” ones. you can only archive stuff, not delete or edit it, so a lot of the archived emotions are duplicates I may have decided I wanted a different icon for. Even if I try to add an emotion to an entry now to try and anchor it to that entry so it doesn’t get deleted, it’ll just disappear from said entry. So at this point all my entries are wrong. I tried to contact support with no response.

I ended up deleting my account and starting another, only putting in emotions I’ve used before in my other app instead of all of them because there’s no room. I never got a response from support.

Another thing to add since telling support won’t do anything; there’s a bug which sometimes makes it so if you’re editing a previous entries’ time it won’t change pm to am. I put the entry in at like 12:30am but it says pm. I tried to change it so many times but it won’t change. Just silliness. It’s only happened once so… idk. I like the app but it needs some bug fixes and serious revamping of the added emotions/activities system. I’m only trying it out because they gave me a year of the growth bundle for free since I bought the lifetime of done and do. Besides those, this is the only app in the growth bundle I actually use and it’s like… okay. Needs work. Probably will only keep it after the year if I can buy a lifetime.

  • Extremely helpful!

Hey, I usually don’t like journaling or writing down how I feel or anything, but I decided to give Reflectly a try and it’s helped a lot! I’m not able to get the premium but the free version has plenty of features that I wouldn’t expect from an app with a premium feature. I also like how the app automatically saves your notes so you can look back on them. I also really appreciate the quotes, it can be very nice to just sit on the couch and scroll through quotes that can inspire you. One thing I’d like to note is that if you click your stats, it will say you have to complete a certain amount of reflections to unlock it because the app doesn’t have enough information about your progress, but once you complete those reflections it will say it’s only available with premium. Although, in the background you can still see stats that are slightly faded out. I’m not sure if that’s just an example to show you the layout or if your progress is there but just faded. Anyway, this is getting long but the gist is that if you are thinking about getting this app to help with your mental health, I 100% recommend it! If you read this whole thing, have a wonderful day/night!

  • Very Helpful!!

This app is designed for the everyday person. I just recently downloaded the app and it has already been a big help in maintaining my mood. One of my favorite features of the app is that daily, you’re able to write a journal entry about the day, on that day. You’re also able to go back in the calendar and read what you write on that day. A lot of my friends have said that writing things down such as goals, achievements, or even small things about your day can be very beneficial to your mental health. Since I have tried this, it has helped a lot. In my psychology course at CMU, we learned about the breathing method, which is a way to calm yourself when you’re stressed. Another thing that this app also helps with that we also discussed in class is that those with anxiety would like this app because you’re able to track your mood daily! Sometimes this can help those who just want a mood booster, and this app is very helpful in that aspect.

  • WOW! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ PLEASE READ!

    Hey there.
This app is great and I’m not just saying that. You can still do what the apps meant for even without premium. Also there’s always a great amount of selection or choices to complete. You can read quotes, look at your stats, you can reflect, and say something that your thankful for and why. It’s an amazing app and I would definitely 100% get this app if you are interested in amazing content anywhere from ages 8+. This app lets you reflect more than just once a day; In the morning, afternoon, and evening. It’s always open. It makes you feel piece in your life even when you don’t always have it. When you do have piece it just gives you hope, bless this app. It helps. I was a bit sceptic at first but now I absolutely love it. I’m never getting rid of this app! So far I’ve found no glitches, no problems, and no security issues. Your privacy is guaranteed! Trust me on all of this. Yes, I’m young... but I know a great app when I see one. Have a great day, and thanks for reading.

    Bye.

  • Totally Recommend!💕

Reflectly is an app you can come home (or start of your day) and express your day, and/or how you feel. First, you do your daily check-in. You can write notes about your day, and they can be as long as you want. Say maybe a special event happend, or something really frustrating happend. Next, you can do an optional daily task that can be as simple as a bubble bath. You also have mini-challenges. To all my over thinkers, don’t worry! For an example, today my challenge was “Currently, _____ is the most challenging thing to accept about myself”. I simply had to fill in the blank, no right or wrong answer, just expressing yourself. I have moderate anxiety, and I overthink everything. Oh! Don’t forget the daily quotes. I once got one from Will Smith. I love his movies! Overall, Reflectly lets me get my feelings out and really let it out. Even though you have to pay for certain things like custom quotes, and free access to all of the other apps, I’m inlove. Totally recommend for anybody! Have a great day!

  • I love it!

This app is so great :) And it works. You do have it get a subscription to unlock certain things but the app is definitely usable without one. The app has a feature where you can talk about your day verbally or write it down. Whatever you are more comfortable with. Not only this but, you also get the option to turn on your notifications and it will remind to do a “daily check in” One in the morning, afternoon, and night. Any other check ins you do can be completely up to you! You can do as many as you please and throughout the day if you’d like. Its private so no one can see what you write down there wether it’s venting about a bad day or putting a picture to show how great your day was. It’s like your own personal digital journal. It also gives motivational quotes, and every Sunday you can practice thankfulness. If your looking for something to help with your mood if your feeling down or if you even wanted something that you’ll be able to take wherever with you without taking to much space up in your bag then this is the app for you! Have a great day! 🤍

  • Clunky and gimmicky

I was looking for a journal app and found this one...I used the premium subscription for awhile cuz I liked the way it charted and showed moods over time...but I Just can't use it anymore. It's very hard to type and see what you're typing (small white font on blue background) and the whole point of the app is for writing! I couldn't go back and edit very easily.
I also found it very annoying to have to categorize my mood before I started an entry, because for me the point of journaling is to work out how I feel and why. You have to go through two screens just to write down your thoughts: 1) asking how you feel and 2) what categories are making you feel that way, And HOW YOU FEEL about that. How do I feel about how I feel?? Annoyed that I have to quantify all that before writing about my day.
It crashed on me a few times and always seems slow to load/open. Once I stopped using the paid version it would open every single time with an ad for premium. How many times do I have to say no thanks before you get it?!
I found a simpler journal app that works for me without all the unnecessary floofy little Smiley's and moods.

  • Super cool app

I really enjoy this app. Iv been needing a journal again but I write so much my hand starts to hurt so I stoped journaling. Well that didn’t help. I need to get my thoughts out one way or another or they reply in my head. So I was on reddit for a while… that doesn’t last long because even in the most wholesome subs you get trolls, and one troll can ruin everything you’ve worked on.

So I googled journaling apps and this popped up. It’s very versatile and has a lot of cool features. Quotes everyday, reflection prompts and then you have your check ins. And this is huge you can type them, use voice to text or if a photo says a thousand words you can always add a photo for your check in. It tracks your check ins and after a while you can start to see what might keeping you going and whats pulling you down. You can set it to remind you to check in, but honestly after you do it a few times you really love it find yourself just checking randomly throughout the day. Like before a class or after dinner.

I love this app, I got the full version before the first week was up. It has helped immensely and I can also bring it with me and easily go over my month with my therapist.
