  • Filmware update keeps me from printing pictures

    I downloaded the app and it keeps making me download the filmware update and doesn’t allow me to exit it out of it. I left it to update for two hours completely undisturbed, however it still didn’t finish the so called update. This is very upsetting as I wanted to print out my pictures from my prom which are very important to me, I wanted to keep the pictures as keep sakes. Although this “filmware” update is keeping me from doing so, please can you fix this.

  • Great little printer

    Once it was setup, I found it easy to use. I did upload manual from Polaroid site because I needed to understand it better. I connected printer to my iPad Pro and works fine.

  • For the most part I like it.

    Generally this app does what it says it does. At first I was frustrated because I could not get any of my edits to stick. Whenever I switched to a new editing tool the previous edit was gone. It took several days to realize that since the images from my iPhone never fully filled the printing area (i.e. a small amount of white space appeared above and below the image) I was unable to see the “X” and “check mark” at the bottom because they were white on white. Also if you edit your photos and leave white space on the bottom you can’t see them either. These marks should either be a different color or be placed outside the image area. I only gave it 3 stars because of my frustration and the time it took me to figure this out.

  • App won’t load

    Hard to even write a review when I’ve yet to use the printer or the app. I can’t seem to get past the very first page because it takes so long to load and eventually gives me an error saying “request timed out”. I’ve updated my phone software, deleted and redownloaded the app, restarted my phone, turned off WiFi and tried using LTE, etc. Nothing seems to change and I’m getting the same annoying results. I don’t know what else to do.

  • Cant even use

    Since they have updated the app, i cant even get onto the app. It just loads for like 5 minutes and then says “request timed out” i thought maybe it was my phone that didnt work but then i tried it on my ipad and my other phone and they all did the exact same thing. My printer is basically useless without the app so im not very happy.

  • Update

    Since the update, I can’t open the app. I can’t do anything now. I am really diasappointed.

  • Slow and archaic

    Rule 1 - don’t run out of paper. It will not print your picture. It will just go right back to the home screen and tell you it is out of paper. Then you have to start all over again.

    This app is very slow. And feels very old. Not a lot of choices for what you can do with your pictures. When you are trying to crop it in the preview screen, leave a small border, it will print slightly larger than it shows.

    Please update this to be more smooth when you are moving the picture around in preview. It takes a lot of effort to get the picture cropped correctly because I have to keep moving it and then it doesn’t move or don’t stay where I had it when I let off the screen.

  • App crash

    Been trying to print a photo for at least an hour now and it won’t let me get past the update, just keeps loading with the circle yet doesn’t progress onto any confirmation page therefore I cant print any photos. Very disappointed I cannot use my device... please get rid of the update or fix it so I can get past the update stage

  • help needed asap

    i’ve had my polaroid printer for a while now. i recently got new paper for it hoping to print some pictures out, but the app must have a glitch with the new firmware update that needs to be downloaded. I personally don’t think it’s necessary to even have the update, but it won’t let me not download it. I’ve tried to download it so many times but it won’t let me and take longer that 20 minutes to download. This printer was a lot of money and this glitch should be fixed soon! I also stay in the app when i try to update it and keep my printer on but it never moves from 0%. please make a new update to fix this so that my printer could be normal again. thank you

  • Issue resolved!!

    I recently upgraded to an IPhone XR and when I downloaded and tried to sign into the app, it keeps giving me a “software caused program to lose connection” message and will not allow me to go any further. Extremely frustrating, please fix! I will amend my rating once it is fixed!

    Turns out the problem the entire time was apple and not Zip. I LOVE THIS LITTLE MACHINE. If you need a printer that is quick and reliable, this is the one for you. Love love love my zip
