  • Help needed ASAP

    Update: I called Polaroid customer service and they were helpful. I updated my iOS, then deleted this app, and reinstalled it. The firmware update worked fine and my printer is working again. I will change my rating.

    I need to be able to use this again. When I try, I’m told I need to update the firmware which will take 20 minutes. I don’t need the feature it’s promoting, but I can’t get past it- so fine. I hit update. It sat at 100% without finishing for over an hour. Finally I closed it out and reopened it. I was back to the beginning- need to update firmware. So I did it again. It sat at 100% for over an hour again, never finished. Finally I just deleted the app and reinstalled it. Today I tried again to print and guess what? Need to update firmware. I either need to be able to use my printer, or I need a refund for it. I loved it up to this point, now it’s useless.

We've found that most people with similar experiences leave the app in the background or completely closes the app during an update load which disrupts the process or the printer shuts off.   • Returning user

    I haven’t used my printer in awhile and it was not updated. Downloading the updates and getting back into it was so easy and fast. This is so convenient for scrapbooking, sharing photos and for strange shaped,mini, decorative frames that I buy at Michaels!
  • I CANT EVEN MAKE THIS THING WORK

    I’m trying and trying but this STUPID thing keeps popping up about Downloading flipmore thingy and I hate it! And you can’t even X it out!!! I would not even get one of these stupid sticker printer and it just a waste!!!!! UGH

  • Terrible.

    I spent good money on this printer and I shouldn’t have to update the firmware to print out my own pictures on my own printer. I happily went to update the firmware, however it took well over 20 minutes and was still at 0%. I gave it time and it was still not downloading the firmware. I just want to print out my dang pictures yet the app is requiring to download firm ware that won’t even load!!!! This is ridiculous. I deleted the app and downloaded it again to see if it was just temporary but it is still not downloading the firmware at all when I click update. I’m not about to let my phone sit undisturbed for hours for an app. Please fix this so I can print my pictures ☺️☺️

  • New firmware?

    This app is good for using to print my pictures off of, but since the update like 4 weeks ago or something it says I have to install the new firmware and that it could take up to twenty minutes. I wasn’t too excited about this but I found the time where I had about forty minutes where I could just leave my phone open on the app to install the firmware. I can back like 35 minutes later and it still said 0%. I can’t print out any pictures without updating it, but I also can’t update it. I didn’t let the app close at any point or minimize it or whatever, I did everything the app said to do and left it for more than enough time. I tried deleting the app and redownloading it, everything I could think of but the same thing happens everytime. Please help me deal with this problem.

  • Love my zip!

    Updating my review!! I am SO excited! I wrote before that I had used it for 6 months and absolutely loved it but all the sudden it would not update after trying 5+ times. Not sure what happened but today I summoned the courage to try again and it worked immediately!! No clue why, but I am not complaining! So that said, it’s the most reasonably priced portable printer and I think most of the negative reviews on here are forgetting that. The app is basic, but it works perfectly fine and gets the job done. I think the colors are great, the pictures are clear and print fast, and I love that they are peel and stick. It’s obviously not going to give you magazine quality photos, but that’s not what it was designed for. I find it perfect for daily journaling and it’s so much more convenient than rushing out to Walgreens every time you need a picture. 10/10 would recommend!

  • Lots of fun

    Easy to set up and lots of fun. Great features. Photo quality very good, given the size of the device. Love using the Polaroid zip photo printer.

  • Worst item

    I received the Polaroid Zip as a Christmas present, unfortunately I have no idea where it was bought as I would return it with immediate effect, the unit will not keep a charge about 6 hours max, the update they tell you it needs tells you before it starts that the update will take approximately 20 minutes well after waiting 2 1/2 hours for it to reach 65% I have decided to shut it down and through this crap product in the bin, this must be the biggest heap of crap on sale

  • Why even bother with albums...?

    This app would be way better if you could browse your photo gallery the same way you can browse it on the phone. I am not obsessively printing the last ten pics on my phone, if I want to print a selection of photos over a year or more it is a pain to scroll, find the one photo, and do it all over again.
    I’d like to be able to select a few photos at a time, create a folder, and access that folder within the app.
    Even better if you can just hit the “share” button on a photo and send it to print!!!
    Other than that, I already made the investment and bought the printer, but the photos are always darker than the original...I wouldn’t recommend this purchase.

  • Color of prints

    The colour print out has been absolutely dreadful! And each photo print costs me!
