Money grabbing exercise.
Anyone who owns the full version of Reason should not have to pay for this! I used to have a lot of respect for Propellerhead but I’m afraid they’ve turned into software accountants and marketing wolves. Sorry but you’ve had enough money out of me and there are far better options than this to spend £30 on. Look at what one gets with Korg Gadget compared to Compact. Look at what one gets FOR FREE in Garage Band. Look what Groovebox & Blocs Wave from Novation give for free. This, in comparison is sub standard. Europa is without a doubt an amazing synth and I paid the £9.99 to have it on my iPad but another £20 for the drums & bass? It should, at the most, be a tenner for all three.

Fun but buggy
The developer’s app support also no longer works via ZenDesk.
It works well in creating music but the app crashes when exporting music on my device, an iPhone 7+ (iOS 13). Can’t actually get any music into other tools via music files.

Pretty good for a free app
As above- simple, fun, intuitive. But the free app will be as far as I go into this, because no less than £30(!) to ‘complete’ it strikes me as way too much. There are some absolutely enormous synths in the App Store for a tenner or less that are likely to do far more than Europa (all with infinitely customisable bass presets too), and for the price of these drums you could get Digi Stix- a no brainer for you if ever there was one. But again, pretty good for free- a fine time-waster.

Dope app and now I can produce on the fly
My favorite producing app so far though I think ableton should make an app too. I like the synth packets, a dollar price is dope too. I also like how you can export your whole session too and now you can track out to eight bar loops and edit within that. Literally made a few bangers off this app and it’s been a dope experience. However with the latest iOS update the export feature doesn’t work and causes the app to crash which is frustrating because now I am familiar with the app and can make some pretty dope beats that I want to transfer to my Mac version of Reason 10. Other than that iOS glitch it’s the dopest on the fly app.

Close but...
This is a great sounding app. Europa with chords activated can give you some fab happy accidents and the drums and bass sit really nicely in most cases HOWEVER I agree that this feels v much a work in progress... Needs ability to save presets, needs a better arp and the chords section needs scales not just maj/min. A sampler would be a nice addition and song structure screen/ audio recording. Korg gadget is similar but much more complete but understandably it has upfront cost. I would pay for a full reason app though rather than (compact). This feels designed to make you buy reason 10 🤨

Great synth, surprisingly limited pocket studio
The synth is what one would expect from such an established company, with powerful features and some unique elements. I also bought drums and bass as soon as they were released, expecting some upgrade over time, which never came. Most of the standard features one would expect from any music app of this kind are not there (swing, scales (only major and minor), time signatures, patterns, mixer, init sounds, maybe automations etc.), which is puzzling. So, you have this great synth surrounded by everything else which is stylish to look at but slightly below average, made by propellerhead, and it feels...meh

Good but lacking in features
Would be great to be able to have these in the app:
Automation for parameters
Multiple instruments
Finer timing control on the step sequencer (swing is missing)

Noted!
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I love this game because there is NO ads❤️. All the music makes me relaxed and comfortable. Whenever I’m mad, sad, or depressed, the sounds and music make me feel better. Everyone says that I make beautiful and relaxing sounds. It’s so easy to make the hardest sounds thanks to the creator. I’m not worried about the paying because the free stuff is all I need. Either way I didn’t pay for anything. THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!???!???

Okay Hanna... this might get your attention...
Hi. As a Reason user since version 3 and now at version 10.4 I love Reason. I do not love being given a free compatibility upgrade for exporting material produced on this app to Reason and then being asked to pay for it in the app! That is not happening and frankly I expect better from Propellerhead than this. If you really want to alienate your previous and current customers; Congratulations! You are succeeding admirably.
Now let’s see what feeble response this gets from “Hanna”...

Hi Aardvarkguy, Nice with a personal message ;) With 10.4 you got two free instrument in Reason desktop because we made the instruments for our mobile app. If you feel you have no value to make music on the go and export them to desktop that is all fine. It is just two clicks for you to delete our app. /Hanna (Product Manager, Propellerhead)
Great sounds, but needs some UI fixes imo
The sounds are amazing, I love using the synths. I didn’t think I would be using the drums, but I do anyways. Sounds are great, but the app needs a bit more attention.
UI: Sound packs shouldn’t be full screen. It takes up wayyy too much space, and looks really clunky and hard to navigate. I also feel the pace of the of switching places throughout the app is slow. It doesn’t feel as fluent. Oh, when you click the three dots when using a sound thing, it doesn’t allow you to export it. Nothing huge, but it kinda bothers me and it’d be great if you guys focused on that. A bit more consistency.
Bugs: Sorry, but this is kinda buggy. For one, when I switch to my AirPods or really connect any headphones in I have to restart the app, because the sound doesn’t work. Also Europa keymode is bugged, I think. The poly doesn’t work when you have a preset from Europa that isn’t poly. You can’t switch to the poly, well you can but it doesn’t work. The app sometimes crashes when I’m editing the stuff in Europa too.
Overall great app with greats sounds, it just needs more help with the parts outside of the sounds.
