Great for keeping your private media organized
One of the better working vid, gif, and pic vault apps out there. There is no lagging when uploading videos or gifs like many other media vaults out there. Very user friendly thanks to the intuitive and very well designed UI. I highly recommend this app for keeping pictures private and hidden from anyone you donโt want to see them. Not to mention itโs password protected so your nosy SO cant get at all your dirty NSFW pics, gifs, and vids of your ex. 5/7 would download again!Show lessBurningVeryImportantThings
Found the limit.
Or at the very least MY limit.
Importing a whole bunch of photos and I found my limit to be 5,079 photos and gifs or 6.11 GB, I knew this was my limit because upon trying to import new photos, dark box was not completing the task at all. The progress bar, selecting photos from camera roll, and the import button was working, itโs just that the function and execution of the import failed.
Overall compared to other apps on the market that provide the same โsecret serviceโ dark box is the one to get, other secret file apps will most like only give you 50 photo storage space and locking everything behind a premium subscription.
If you are looking for pure storage and not the ability to โlockโ your files then I would suggest other mainstream file apps that are made by the big companies, dark box does have cloud storage but that is a premium feature.
When I first got the app it exceeded my expectations and stuck through with me for months and months until today, my photos are safe in dark box I can still look at them, I just canโt import any more due to an unforeseen limit of the softwares and my hardwares capabilities.

Itโs great
Quite a good app overall, but is very slow when sending pics and vids that havenโt been sent before, this is very frustrating. If that could be fixed then this app would be 5-starMrSquigglesPencil

So far itโs not too bad.. peeved me off how yous advertised getting the premium membership with cloud storage yet when u subscribe to it, it then asks you to AGAIN to do a $45 subscription for cloud storage. So really false advertisingJacp1287
Really solid
Has a really nice interface and I love how intuitive it is along with the ability to change the themes. Apps like these I donโt mind seeing ads on, because while Iโm not willing to pay for a subscription, it is more than serviceable without and I am happy to support ityeet yight yat yote
Great app for a fair price.
What you get with this app is a fair in price, and the features that come with are good. Wish that I could select photos easier for uploading. Like dragging my finger. And I feel like the basic rate should come with 30gb-40gb of cloud storage.MrDapp3r
Minor things missing
This is a fantastic app for holding on to pics and videos! A couple of things I would have liked to see. When a live pic is saved, it would be nice to still be a live pic. I also would like dates on when the pics were saved. Like I said, very minor things, but otherwise an awesome app!DFalvo
Fab way to organise your photos
This app is so handy for me because I have about 5,000 photos in my camera roll and I always struggle to find the ones I want so this has been a great way to clear my camera roll and have everything organised in separate albums so I know exactly where to find what Iโm looking forFlossy86

I have had no issues putting photos in to Darkbox. It is virtually impenetrable!!
