Awesome privacy app
I enjoy the functionality of this app and itโs hidden features. I do recommend the flip screen function alters the website it goes to. Such as google instead, a website written a language you canโt read is suddenly quite weird.Richifrade
Right... (2 stars is to get your attention)
So 3 months since your impressive rename and reveal of your upcoming update to your app... and nothing. The app still randomly crashes and the flow between each video and photo is not very good, when I think Iโm trying to get to the next video or photo Iโm changing the volume and/or brightness? What? Remove that feature! Itโs not hard for any phone user to change their brightness and volume without the help of the app. The way to skip to the next video is very interesting and the fast forwarding/ lock screen rotation features are a bit buggy. Why does it open a new menu rather than just play the video like any camera roll when I swipe automatically to the next item Iโm fast forwarding or to go the other way, rewinding?? Also, after a while I understood your repeat video feature but just make it a tap rather than a confusing puzzle to get a section of the video to play, itโs very unlikely someone wants to repeat about 10 seconds of like a 5 min video, itโs unneeded and when sometimes, depending on where I put โBโ it doesnโt repeat it just stops. Please read this and incorporate it, I'm a fan of this app and it is very useful to me. Thank you.Show lessRx867

The app does everything it says it does in the description but there are some problems
When playing a video the app sometimes crashes
Photos do not have file names and cannot be searched, which is annoying for people who label their photos to easily search for specific photosteviewls
Very good, however
Have a bug where the photos I import from my photo albums get sent to the bottom or near the bottom of the Darkbox album, only started to do it recently and very irritating as everything becomes out of orderTomstar98

So I donโt normally review apps, but this one. Ooo this one. My mom is going through my camera roll nearly everyday so I downloaded this app so she wonโt see all my screenshots, and it works SO GOOD. When I look through the photos sometimes my brother comes in, it has a part to switch to another app when you tilt it down and itโs so useful. Words donโt even describe how good this is. As of now this app is a very decent app with nice UI and small features. Really expecting the next update be huge. Huge enough for me to move all my pics from my old app to this new app.
Wishlist
- Albums lock with TouchID/FaceID
- Gif support and import and export from app. Import from camera roll doesnโt work
- Ability to view apple photo albums within the app
- login App without any password as we do not require it if we can lock the albums individually
- Picture/video details like size, location, type etc
- Touch and hold multiple files and drag and move within albums
- iPad split view support
- Drag fingers over thumbnails to select multiple pictures easily
- ability to see total number of pictures or videos in an album
- Thumbnail size selection for each albums separately
- Dark theme or smart invert support

Ok app, poor security
The app is OK and at first glance it seems that it is pretty secure, but...
If you launch the app but then hit the home button to go back to your home screen, wait a few seconds and then launch the app from its icon again, it goes straight to your list of albums without showing the โcalculatorโ password input screen.
And even if you have Touch ID turned on, it does the same thing. The list of albums appears, the Touch ID dialogue box appears over the top but you can just tap cancel and access the albums.
I found this out by accident but have been able to recreate it without fail. The developer definitely needs to fix this issue.Show lessPunchyPariah
Brilliant and simple
Brilliant app and very simple to use . Would be good if it could be set as default app so photos go straight there instead of having to move them across .. other than that this the best photo app Iโve used so far .. great stuff ...... thank youAgenthoover
The best version of these apps
Does everything - is even able to save pictures/videos that youโve hidden back to your camera roll again which most of these apps arenโt able to do. Very secure, recommend to everyone.Donna 94
great app. one small flaw.
the ONE single thing to improve this app is to allow folders to also be synced in when using itunes file sharing. currently, files are all mixed in one folder. would like it if you can keep all folders and contents in tact.buddyjustinn
