Pretty Good
I want to keep track of my yarn stash. The ease to input yarn information is easy and detailed. The barcodes don’t work for me, so everything has to be done manually. This is okay, but there are a few important options lacking that has me adding yarn to the app at a standstill. There is no option to ‘copy’ a yarn brand that I already added and allowing me to just change colour options. I have to redo every-single-detail and I have several colours of some yarn brands. I would have to start from square one on each colour. Extremely time-consuming, so using the app is now on the back-burner of my to-do list while I search for something else that might work, or this one has the options added. It also doesn’t give the option of a custom colour family. Some cake yarns have multiple colours in them and do not fit in a specific colour family. There is no option to add the barcode in the ‘edit’ screen. It is a good app, but will be great with some features to cut back on data entry time.

game changer for my crochet
I love Yarn Buddy! it has everything i need to keep track of my projects, my place in the pattern, what hook i’m using and a handy line highlight tool. Best app for yarn work :)
A crafters dream
I’ve been using this app for a few months now, and I love it. I’m always switching between projects and this helps me keep them all in one place. I really appreciate how you don’t have to upgrade to Pro to be able to use it, and that there’s not a limit on how many projects can be tracked. Can’t fault this, so glad I found it.

Such a great app!
I was looking for something that would include crocheting AND knitting, and would help me keep track of all of my projects, yarn stash, etc. This is the best thing ever!! Almost immediately bought pro to help support this app but to also access even more cool features!

Great & easy App
I have been using the app for 2 months and like having it always available, easy to input information and it keeps up with the location on pattern and row counter easy to use. I wish the notes could be copied on the pattern view or at least be able to have pulled up beside the pattern.(like the counter) Being able to write in the open space during pattern view Being able to edit a row alert and not reentering information Thanks for a great app! I upgraded to Pro. Update: I’m currently having problems with counter staying fixed. I’m using multiple counters and they keep moving. I’ve tried on both phone and iPad. The counters are linked to Total rows.

I continue to enjoy using this app. Have you thought of adding a color wheel to the tools? It would come in handy when yarn shopping.

Positives: It helps me to know my upcoming projects and helps me to keep them organised. Negatives: It has a few bugs but it works.🙂
Review: Update
I decided to update my review after I posted a 1 star review previously regarding how the app seemed to have dumped all of my data. After I posted my review, I decided to sync my iPad with my computer and waited. After about 10 min the app populated all of my data. The developer sent a response to my review the next day after I posted however, I had already found the solution to my disappearing data. The app is a really good app and I am so happy that I have my data, can add more data and I am hoping that “disappearing” data will not be a regular occurrence. I also appreciate the developers quick response. Thank you!

Love the app - here's a suggestion!
I have been using this app for a few months now (the best row counter I've tried), and I like to change the color of all my counters so that I can tell which is which more easily. However, when the color of a counter is the dark blue preset option and you expand the counter, it's extremely difficult to see the buttons to minimize and reset the counter. Just adding an outline would make this so much better, since I had to force close the app in order to get back to my other counters.

This app has just what I need to keep track of my stash which is growing all the time. I have soooooo much!! It’s out of hand. So far I have used the project saver features of this app. I love it!! From one Nebraska girl to another whos grandma taught her to crochet Well Done!!!! Grandma is proud of you!!
I can’t wait to learn all the other features of this app. I loved the free version but the subscription is very inexpensive and well worth it so future buyers if your on the fence you won’t regret it. Great for WIPs. I love the barcode scanner. That is helpful. So many things to talk about. I’m going to write out a better review and come back but I was just really excited to shout it’s praises. It’s not just for crocheting. It’s also for knitting and cross stitch and other fiber crafts I believe. Better review to come lol. Exciting!!

I only downloaded this app ten minutes ago but can already see this is an app I am going to use consistently and long term.
A lot of knitting apps are clunky and full of bugs but this app has a clean interface, gorgeous details and exactly what I need to help read patterns on my ipad to keep my eyes on track.
The price point seems more than reasonable for a yearly basis if this is a tool that will help streamline my projects and easily integrate to get back into knitting after a break.
Clever use of colour helps to add personalisation to app interface and also project row counters. This is something I look forward to using! Thank-you for developing!!!
