  • NOTHING BUT CATFISHING

    I’ve been on this site less than a week and it is nothing but CATFISHING. Support is very poor. Here are some examples: first, I couldn’t figure out why everyone’s height was in centimeters as opposed to feet and inches. I contacted customer support who said they don’t use centimeters, yet that’s all that shows up on my app. They did nothing and offered no help. Second, 99.9% of the men are in SOUTH AMERICA - completely useless for someone in the U.S. Again, no help from customer service. Third, none of the photos are candids; they’re all slick, professional photos, as though the men were advertising clothes or part of a modeling portfolio, often (not always) with the men looking off into the distance. Fourth, I was BOMBARDED with emails and messages, immediately calling me “Honey,” “Darling,” “Dear,” “Gorgeous,” etc. NOT A SINGLE LEGITIMATE PROFILE. Fifth, you have a limited number of credits to read the messages and once you’ve used those up, you HAVE TO PAY to open the rest. THIS SITE IS A TOTAL SCAM - STAY AWAY. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company, as I did not receive the service that was advertised and that I paid for.

Height Measurement: We understand the confusion regarding height display, Indeed, the platform provides height feature in Centimeter as it is the most commonly used measurement in the mainstream which adds up to the fact that datemyage is an internationally oriented app. 2. Location: As an internationally orientated app, that's why there are a lot of members from all over the world. And we're glad you're enjoying that feature. About some difficulties on setting up location, Have you tried changing it manually in your profile description or in "I'm looking for" section? If those factors are set up right and in line to where you're currently at and still wouldn't work, I would best suggest that you try the manual "Search" or "Let's Mingle" options. Try to broaden your search area (not a city, but a state, etc.). 3. Profile Authenticity:T he app helps connect members and eventually make them great matches. Some members attend professional photo sessions to attain that, thus it's not strange to see beautiful ones. However, if some interactions feel suspicious, you are most welcome to check the Anti-scam and report it at support@datemyage.com 4. Credits System: I'm sorry that our credits system has been one of the sources of your disappointment at our website. Using services costs a fixed number of credits. We currently don't implement monthly plans with unlimited access to services. The current subscription concept involves making purchases to get credits to continuously use the services. To make your experience better infused with practicality, Consider bigger credit package, they cost lesser per credit And stick to using online chat, It's cheaper.   • This company is a scam top to bottom

    I downloaded this app just so I could write a review. I never opened it, just downloaded and deleted straight away. I started getting emails yesterday about confirming my email address and that I’ve gotten messages from people. The weird thing is, I never signed up for DateMyAge, and never even visited the site nor downloaded the app. I did recently sign up for other dating apps, but not this one. My guess? This company buys data from brokers who buy data from other dating apps, and DateMyAge created an account from that information on my behalf. It had my email address, first name, age, and location. They created the account in the hopes that I would actually sign up and pay. This is one of the most nefarious businesses I’ve ever dealt with. Apple should delete this app from the store, and this company should be banned from doing business anywhere.

    My response to developer: This is what I would call “deceptive business practices.” I don’t know what other app I signed up for that automatically signed me up for this one but when I find out it’s gone forever. I’m guessing it’s Happn since they love to host fake profiles too.

By using their services you agree with Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and other regulations, published on their websites/ applications." And with regards to email confirmation, Have you checked your spam or junk folder? If not yet, please do, and if still no avail. Unfortunately, I'm not able to locate your account using your name here to check the current status of your email.   • Great scripts but a waste of time

    Signed up to this less than a week ago. A lot of interest and profiles look great, as soon as you start to reply or email though it costs a ridiculous amount. If I stayed on this for a month or more, it would honestly be more than an around the world return flight with accomodation.

    The script writers are good, I did have some really good conversations with whoever was responding on the other end. It felt a bit GPT chat at times and they do use bots to generate broadcast messages that are annoying. Inconsistencies in texting / messaging style and having to repeat what you already covered though are red flags. As are profiles that seem to be online 24/7.

    They like to get you to email (costs more credits), rather than message. Opening or sending an email costs the same and there goes 30 credits in one exchange. That’s more than a lunch at a good cafe.

    Most profiles are global, so good luck meeting anyone within a close enough radius, or finding interesting people who are genuine.

    You will be bombarded with flattery. Keep your inner peace, and don’t bother. Invest in yourself and go on an amazing vacation instead.

  • Paid to sign up then get charged to CHAT?!

    Scam, why should I pay just to sign up and then be charged to chat?

But a few amazing benefits come along with it. To save up, Try an online chat instead of email unless you do not mean to send a 5000-character message every time.   • Bad Idea!

    If you believe the profiles and the pictures of them that look like photo shoots! Come on…… Really?! Don’t do it!

    Hi there, Thank you for your review. The app exists to connect members and eventually make them great matches thus we encourage members to as much as possible post presentable photos. As a matter of fact some members attend professional photo sessions, thus it's not strange to see beautiful ones. However, if some interactions feel suspicious, you are most welcome to check the Anti-scam policy and report it to us via the "Report" button on the chatwindow. Alternatively, If you do not want to worry about the legitimacy, you may simply limit your communication to Verified accounts.
  • Too expensive - Wish I had never subscribed

    Although you pay a subscription charge you don't know until later that ALL interactions are then charged by credits which are ridiculously expensive. No other dating app expects "credits" so when you've started to communicate with someone you may potentially like to get to know, you have to pay more and more and if the other person is reluctant to communicate out of the app, it's very difficult. This app is for the company to line their own pockets, not to help people find true love. Wish I hadn't subscribed, and no response from customer services via email to discuss it either 🤬🤬🤬

  • Expensive to use

    It is expensive to have to recharge credit and it’s like 40 credit for $56 it’s really not fair… I don’t think that’s a good strategy
    I’ve spent $200CAD in 24 hrs just to try keep a conversation with someone

  • Expensive cash cow

    Your rates are ridiculously expensive on this precedence alone I’m closing the account
    $150 for 60 or text messages that’s just a rip off see ya making good money I am sure well done great set up
