Not worth the hassle
After many attempts I cannot get the app to connect to my household WiFi. It’s frustrating to spend all this money on a product that requires an app that doesn’t work for you to be able to fully get all the features that you paid for.clynne8
Unable to connect to wifi
Constantly freezes am unable to even connect my device to the app.Brandykyara
No connection
I can no longer connect the device from my phone, my firmware still stuck at 1.28.
I deleted the device from the app an try to reconnect it but nothing is found , then it tells me to connect to wifi from the phone setting , still nothing.Afrowan
Started off well... ended not so much.
App is a bit glitchy, comes up with an API error everytime. Now the app and the evaSMART keep losing contact with each other and now the app no longer controls the cooler.Christos85
App. great when it works, otherwise frustrating
Took a few goes to join it up initially, then worked well using app for a few days. Then it disconnected itself from my internet and would not let me rejoin.
Tried turning device off & on, IPhone 11 off & on and deleted and reinstalled app numerous times. Re-entered SSID & password numerous times, tried in evening & next morning. Finally was able to reconnect using same method I had tried over & over.
Wished I bought the less expensive one without an app.
Device itself is great when you can get it to work, does the job as described.
The Evapolar does work without the app. however the timer can only be turned on with the app & I like it on a timer at night & to be able to turn on/off without getting up.
Lastly it seems I can’t add a nickname that has frustrated anywhere in it, there must be a lot of frustrated users!Show lessevawork?

Awful app
I’m pretty competent with apps and technology, but the connection process in this app makes no sense at all. It really needs to be updated to make it easier to sync your phone to the fan -requiring to manually enter your SSID and password for your home network correctly and it still failing, just over complicated for what it is.Show lessJames_m_80
