Was great but has gone down hill.
My university got these like a year ago? Two years ago? Something like that. It started off great. Would order once a week. Really helpful getting food to me so i didn’t have to go all the way across campus. This semester we’re currently in though, that’s the down hill. Wait times have been astronomical. Reaching 70-80mins sometimes. It seems there’s only 1 robot per food court which is odd. The past semester weren’t like that. We had whole fleets. Just yesterday I ordered and in the robot wasn’t my bag of food. Just a spilled Mountain Dew that I didn’t order. I was rather disappointed that they sent a robot without the ordered food in it. I did get a refund started. I really like these robots I just hope they can get back to how they were. Maybe the problem is my school but i honestly don’t know.Show lessExceptional
I’ve heard about and seen Starship bots wandering while on my way to work, and just kept my thoughts to “that looks fun”. Then, our department was going to do an order before they go on break for the summer and I couldn’t be happier with it! I got to enjoy watching it’s journey from vendor to me, and it was actually incredibly fast! I thought with all the traffic and streets it would have to cross that I would never see my food warm, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I’m a college student and used Starship flawlessly for the first few months of school. Once I got a new phone, I wasn’t able to order anymore because the app was unable to verify my phone number. My new phone is a valid US number and functions flawlessly as a smartphone. I originally contacted support in January about my issue. I was assured that this issue to be fixed and to look out for an email. I never received one and contacted support again about 2 weeks later. This time I assured AGAIN by a different agent that the issue would be resolved. I was also told that this time, I should receive a response in no more than week. It has been a week now with still no response. I contacted support yet another time and was told, ONCE AGAIN, that I should receive an email with a resolution(No Surprise At All). I hope I’m not the only one noticing this pattern of incompetent customer support agents and a neglectful corporation.Show less
