  • Was great but has gone down hill.

    My university got these like a year ago? Two years ago? Something like that. It started off great. Would order once a week. Really helpful getting food to me so i didn’t have to go all the way across campus. This semester we’re currently in though, that’s the down hill. Wait times have been astronomical. Reaching 70-80mins sometimes. It seems there’s only 1 robot per food court which is odd. The past semester weren’t like that. We had whole fleets. Just yesterday I ordered and in the robot wasn’t my bag of food. Just a spilled Mountain Dew that I didn’t order. I was rather disappointed that they sent a robot without the ordered food in it. I did get a refund started. I really like these robots I just hope they can get back to how they were. Maybe the problem is my school but i honestly don’t know.

  • Exceptional

    I’ve heard about and seen Starship bots wandering while on my way to work, and just kept my thoughts to “that looks fun”. Then, our department was going to do an order before they go on break for the summer and I couldn’t be happier with it! I got to enjoy watching it’s journey from vendor to me, and it was actually incredibly fast! I thought with all the traffic and streets it would have to cross that I would never see my food warm, but I was pleasantly surprised.

    Would highly recommend!

  • Ignorant Customer Support

    I’m a college student and used Starship flawlessly for the first few months of school. Once I got a new phone, I wasn’t able to order anymore because the app was unable to verify my phone number. My new phone is a valid US number and functions flawlessly as a smartphone. I originally contacted support in January about my issue. I was assured that this issue to be fixed and to look out for an email. I never received one and contacted support again about 2 weeks later. This time I assured AGAIN by a different agent that the issue would be resolved. I was also told that this time, I should receive a response in no more than week. It has been a week now with still no response. I contacted support yet another time and was told, ONCE AGAIN, that I should receive an email with a resolution(No Surprise At All). I hope I’m not the only one noticing this pattern of incompetent customer support agents and a neglectful corporation.

  • Inexcusably slow

    This service works to the standard it should work once in every ten orders, and those few times are what has led me to believe that the service may become more consistent, and at that point truly satisfactory. However, it is truly ridiculous as your order can be loaded into the robot and then not leave for your destination for up to two hours, leading to what should have been a convenient pickup now causing you to miss the important thing that caused you not to be able to leave in the first place. Furthermore, customer support is absolutely useless as they only go so far as to confirm your order arrived and will not address anything beyond that. If you are building an app around a service, that service should at the very least be performed properly and consistently. However, in the case of starship, it most certainly is not.

  • Gone downhill

    Ive used this app many times and dont usually mind the wait as it is a convenience. The estimated times in the past few months have not been anywhere near accurate.

    Today I placed an order which was delayed for the robot to turn up, not be able to unlock so had to contact support. When i did and then they got the robot open for me it was completely empty. Been told to wait 2-5 days for a refund as only option and no option to resend order with products i purchased.

    Gave me the prompt i need to uninstall which is unfortunate because i really did enjoy the convenience.

  • First impressions

    Literally tried ordering a meal two hours ago from a spot that’s not even two minutes away, and when the robot finally starts driving toward me and arrives my order is missing. I have respect to the late night workers who can cook a meal at this time but it’s still situational. Overall you’re better walking to the food spot and sitting down to wait and receive your meal than using this app because at least then you’re not wasting your money for something that’s more of an inconvenience. I do have respects for the customer support that tried to help me out but overall they gave me a refund and free delivery coupon essentially. Overall I just think I’m not gonna use this app again to be honest and it’s literally my first time using it.

  • Amazing!💖

    The Service is amazing and futuristic but one small thing ,we picked it to sing umbrella but we couldn’t hear it or it didn’t sing at all this is probably a bug that is a bit disappointing but overall it’s a super idea and it is just perfect all our products are fresh and it is very entertaining. We are satisfied by this order and it is a very good thing 💖👍🏻🫶🏻😘

  • No refund !

    I ordered tobacco, the app said I had previously uploaded my ID, and to go to the robot and it would take a selfie and then it would open up, I went downstairs and did this and the robot did not open. I contacted customer support and was told I had to download an app called zoom and provide my id again. I did not want to download this zoom app and I was told that if I didn’t I would still be charged for the tobacco even though I couldn’t collect it. Lesson learned, money lost, app deleted. I hope this is helpful

  • Fab delivery bot

    For the price it’s a great little delivery service and as a family we were massively entertained watching our bot roll down the street. Unfortunately the 75 minute prediction of time was actually about 150 minutes (yes 2.5 hours) but we forgive it as we realise it’s learning the area! We witnessed various cars and people blocking its path which obviously massively slows the journey down but as people get used to seeing them around im sure the novelty will wear off!

    Thanks for your review and sorry it took longer than expected. As you say, it can take time for our robots to learn the best routes in a new area, so we expect delivery times to improve. Our robots look forward to delivering to you again soon!
  • First time user from the App - Ace!!

    Order something direct from the Coop store, took my money but never delivered. Use this little Robot App for the first time, great and straight forward and ON TIME!!! Need to adjust the delivery location, despite putting in the address when ordering - future customers, double check delivery location.
