  • Biding is horrible

I’m editing my original review after the app developer contacted me and had updated the app and fixed the bidding problems for the most part. The app actually plays quite well now and is fun to play and much less frustrating. I’ve won fewer rubbers since the update but playing the hard level is more akin to real life with some average bridge players.

North doesn’t bid in any known bridge method. North routinely opens with fewer than 10 points in suits with no face cards. North will jump shift to a suit that it ends up having to small cards in and fewer than 10 points total. North discards face cards that would win the next lead from dummy to allow EW to make their bid. Even at the hard level it’s like playing with someone who has no knowledge of the game of bridge. North routinely takes you to a five bid in a major when it is unnecessary to make game and you end up one under. Frustrating to say the least.

  • Problem with partner

Fun app to learn bridge. But a big problem in the most difficult level: your partner becomes way too aggressive, to the point where you under by 3 or 4 with each hand. For example, my partner will bid 4, when he he’s only has 4 in that suit, and doesn’t have an Ace or a king.
  • Not worth playing

The bidding software on this is hopeless for a decent bridge game The designer aced the card playing part but the bidding is so bad , I am about to delete it.

Just learning, my first hand. I think I will like it once I know how to play...
  • Good But Some Bidding Is Odd

I am not an expert bridge player, but I don’t understand some of the bots bids. For instance, bidding 4 No Trump is asking your partner for aces. But the bots use it as a bid that I have no idea how to reply to. When I reply based on convention, the bot leaves me there in what is not my choice. Another behavior is bidding 5 of a major suit. 9 out of 10 times it fails. What is the point? If these bids are a function of the bidding system I have chosen, please let me know which system should I change to. Regarding the interface, it works well. I

  • Bridge

Thank you, while sheltering in bridge is helping me maintain my sanity! I enjoy the games a lot even with the flaws.

While some of the general rules does not apply, I’ve made the adjustments. Thank you for allowing us access. I try and play some everyday!

  • Playing bridge during COVID 19

I played bridge 3 times a week at our senior citizen center. I loved the game and had nice folks with good skills to play with.

Suddenly we are confined in our homes. Being an 85 year old widow, I knew I needed to keep my mind active.

My daughter helped me find several free bridge apps on my iPhone. I played them, but quickly found I liked yours best.

If I didn’t like the game, I could delete it and start a new game. Playing the hand or not was up to me with no penalty.

Each hand I select, I do my best. I am a seasoned bridge player and I like the challenge of making the most of each hand regardless of the bidding.

Yours is the only bridge app I have and I play it most every day.
I want you to know that I have shared it with my bridge buddies and those who can download the app love and the ones who can’t are envious of the versatility of your game.

Thanks again for sharing this with us old folks. Even if we get to ever go back to playing together, I will continue playing yours at home.

  • Fun but needs more improvement

Approximately 70~80% sets are perfect. There are still lots of obvious errors in bidding and leading cards. For example, with a weak set of 3 or 4 without partner support, often bid for 4 or 5, and often overturn 3NT to 4S/4H with 4 not solid set without partner support.
When the last one holds A, it mostly will be 2-4-3 without thinking of pulling a 5 to cover it....
Good for practice, must have a strong heart for many unusual errors
    Thanks
