Bonus
I enjoyed the game. Once finished though, could not play the bonus extension.
Black Veil
Interesting and nice long game. Mail problem is that game is way too dark. Puzzle items are almost impossible to read. Turned brightness up all the way and still too dark.
Love hidden object games but almost impossible to find or read items you have to find. I had to use a hint or several just to find items plus it slowed me down and took the fun out of the HO game.

Dark, Creepy, and Beautiful!
This Big Fish game has exquisitely animated cut scenes—honestly, the best I’ve ever seen. The world is immersive, although I don’t understand the backstory (which I guess references another game). However, the puzzles are fun and mostly easy, with challenging hidden-object puzzles and object-gathering tasks that are well integrated into the story. This one is a winner!

Tired theme
I really wanted to like this game. I do want to explore a small town in Scotland with a dark secret! But this is not that. It’s the same old tired horror scenery that could have been taken from 90% of other casual games. I loved the original Ravenhearst games, the Enigmatis series, and the older MCF games and got completely sucked into the plots. Part of the engaging magic of those games is that you’re exploring an environment that’s otherwise normal, and the spooky elements then become that much more affecting. If the whole game is just stereotypical horror imagery, it completely ruins the suspension of disbelief. In this game, there is no explanation for who built these creepy vast environments or why, or how it furthers the villain’s nefarious goals to have the creepiest fantasy-horror lair possible. In summary, amping up the horror imagery may appeal to 14 year old goth kids, but it does not make for a high quality game. This is just a carbon copy of the many other horror/mystery casual games out there.

Spectacular artwork
This game was beautifully rendered with challenging game play. I particularly liked how you integrated stills with animation. I look forward to future games.
Really disappointed
I have played all the mystery case file games so don’t know how I missed this one, where do I start, really dark so hard to find the puzzle pieces and when you do all you get is a picture in the extras, nothing to do yourself. The map is weird and takes some thought to understand it, some of the puzzles are really difficult. I never use the guide but this is the exception, had to look numerous times. I was glad to finish this game, really annoyed.

Pricy
Far too pricy, over complex super mini puzzles and not enough hidden object games. Other than that it was ok.
Très intéressant
Beaucoup de plaisir
Good but no bonus chapter
Good game, pricey at £6.99. Some of the puzzles were difficult because it wasn’t clear what needed to be done, so skipped some. Storyline was excellent
One of the worst Big Fish games I’ve ever played
Started out ok then the storyline got stupid. Three quarters of the scenes were in an Industrial type setting. Many of the puzzles were impossible to solve so I skipped through a lot. Regret paying $10.99 for this game. So overpriced & I couldn’t wait to finish it to be honest.
