Loved it!
Great game. Challenging but not so hard I had to skip any puzzles. So much fun and visually stunning. Keep up the good work. I can’t wait for the next game 👍
Well alright then!
Really enjoyed this story line. Although it is a dark story which can creep one out, it was well done and had a surprise that I would not have expected. If you’ve played any or all of the previous MCF games I think you’ll be unexpectedly wowed. Great graphics but for (once again) extremely difficult to find items in the dark shadow(y) screen. Mini games 👍, HO’s ok.

Not my favorite MCF game, but worth a play!
I’ve been a big fan of Big Fish’s Mystery Case Files games for years...Dire Grove, Ravenhearst, 13th Skull to name a few...and was excited to try this one. Great graphics and voice acting, but found myself skipping puzzles and using the Hint button because I was at a loss far too many times for my liking. Interesting concept for sure, but the ending was a bit abrupt and didn’t wrap up a the story as I would have hoped. Definitely worth a play, but not my favorite of the series. Also, not sure what happened to the back log of the other MCF games in this series?! Would love to go back and play Dire Grove but it’s no longer in the App Store??

Excellent!
FINALLY, Eipix gives us a great MCF game! I LOVE the super puzzles, and this one has 4! Just really well done game, unique puzzles and hops, spooky creepy story, great visuals. All the usual Eipix bells and whistles, but this time they went above and beyond in creating a unique, disturbing, and poetic storyline. Good length, and replay value for me, bc I will definitely want to play this again in oh six months or so. THANK YOU EIPIX!!

Black Veil
It was OK, I got a little excited at the end when I saw some of the old Ravenhearst scenery and the house. I really like the old Ravenhearst games. Return to Ravenhearst, Dire Grove, Ravenhearst. I wish Big Fish, Mystery Case Files would upgrade the old Ravenshearst games to the latest IOS because I can no longer play those games.

Confusing
Puzzles were either easy or terribly confusing. The ending seemed abrupt at best. Also, did I miss a bonus game? As for extras, sure didn’t see any. The game play was not that enjoyable, and I felt as if I was just sticking it out til the end. I’ve played lots better games.
Overly repetitive!
This game has brought me down in more ways than one. First off, the way you progress throughout the game is virtually the same and the mini games that allow you to progress were clearly not thought out. Second, the story was quite lame because it was not well thought out. Third, that kid kept reminding me of that kid in the rain jacket from the movie IT.

Not a good experience. Audio drops out and restarting iPad a must to resume. New iPad so not a problem with device. There is an extra game which was started then dropped out and could not reconnect or find. Cannot finish game in its entirety. Very poor.
Not for Phones
This game needs desperately to have an update that will enable phone users to actually play the game. Even with great eye sight most aspects are way too small to read or understand. Bummer. Looks like it’s a good game but unplayable on your phone.
The Black Veil
I love Mystery Case Files games but I played this a bit erratically and consequently became a bit lost by the story. My fault there but it is one of the delights of these games that they are so fascinating in their narrative. I did however find some of the mini games a bit blah and found myself skipping several to get to the tale again. Maybe it was a product of the fact that I picked up the game so irregularly.
Still I look forward to the sequel as I do to all mystery case files😁
