  • Amazing

Weather it’s an ap, a video game, your 6th gen performance car they all share one thing in common. Developers, design engineers and marketing experts do one thing extremely well: ignore feedback from their customers.

Monday has changed that. They have taken all of the times we said “If it could only do____” from every segment of the business world and rolled it into an ap. Somehow keeping it simple and easy to learn. There are templates for any imaginable niche. The “if this happens do _____” templates are a holy grail. The ability to quickly and efficiently switch between board layouts is even better. If you are not using Monday to track your business one of your competitors is and they are way ahead of the game. Scheduling a demo is quick, their customer support team is top notch and are always available. I encourage anyone not using this ap to schedule a demo. It won’t take you long to make the switch to Monday.

  • Generally great but….

There’s a lot of bugs that have yet to be fixed and some that are starting to happen as I type this message. Whenever I try to copy/paste task lists, it doesn’t always include the actual tasks so I have to redo it. The colors also glitch often and don’t show as the assigned one checked off. For example, “stuck” is red and “done” is green. When my employees check off “done” it’ll show as red and can be confusing as we’re in a quick-paced work environment and they sometimes just glance at the list to see what needs to be done. The new issue that’s developed today, is that my sub items have quite literally disappeared from the lists. It’s pretty inconvenient having to constantly edit the lists honestly

  • Very cluttered/confusing UX

There may be benefits to the structure of this app but it feels very over complicated to me. It’s a lot like a big excel sheet with with more icons and colors. I really wish they would consolidate the Updates/Files/activity log/info boxes/item card tabs all into one view so things are easier to track. I also don’t understand why subtasks don’t show next to the task unless you are looking at the grid of all tasks within its board. Searching is also very tough to use reliably unless you look within specific boards.

My company used to use Asana and it was much simpler to the point that I would use it for my personal freelance work and scheduling. I think it lacks certain analytics that Monday does have, but for simple task tracking, Monday falls short.

Also, naming an app after a day of the week, when a key function of the app is organizing dates, makes no sense to me and adds so much unnecessary confusion.

  • Wow!

We switched to the Monday platform a few months ago, and it is a game changer! Love the ability to label events/items; to create sub-items; updates/comments/files; as an organization, Monday has converged what we used to need multiple platforms to use, into 1. We do still use some other data tracking/organizing softwares, but with more time and knowledge, we are sure Monday is universal enough to be used for about all our needs.

  • We love Monday!

Monday itself is a great platform. I know for a fact we don't utilize as much as we should and there is more we could be doing with it. But for what we use it for, it works great. The mobile app has come a long way over the past 2 years. It still has its bugs here and there and is slow to load board info sometimes. It's nice to have it available at your fingertips day and night when you're away from a computer though!

  • Mobile app is awful!!!

I have been using this app since it was called the pulse, and the mobile app portion of it has never worked properly and with each update that they keep doing it seems to get worse. My different jobs will jump all over the board randomly both on the app on the phone and on the office computers. Lately, the app is making it to where when I click on one job another job will open and I can’t get to the one I was trying to get to without swiping left or right and sometimes I cannot get to that job. Period. Also, there are hyperlinks for phone numbers don’t work anymore only for emails, so every time I need to call a client I have to stop copy and paste the phone number which is extremely inconvenient.

  • Great project and task Manager

I've been using it for the last two years and we've finally had our team utilize it to the potential. If you have a business, do yourself a favor and have someone set it up for you, otherwise you'll spent more time learning to use the software, instead of actually using it. When it comes to managing projects and tasks we've built ours to have automation and it's placed accountability on the right people

  • Would be 5 star if mobile better

I love the layout. I have my lists set up to have urgency ratings and a notes section to put next steps. Great tool for collaborating. My major complaint is the mobile experience isn’t great. I’m someone who works from a home office, so I don’t spend all day in front of my computer. The mobile app is the same as the desktop view, meaning for each task I have to scroll to the right a lot to see everything. It feels like using the desktop version of a site on mobile. It’s doable, but not as convenient as I like. I’ve used Trello for years, and have transitioned to Monday for the functionality that I described above, but the thing I miss the most about Trello is the better mobile app experience.

  • Don’t buy

Misleading in free version, doesn’t say it has limitations for everything (200 limit). App is not syncing, if you enter something on desktop, you need to exit the app and enter again so you can see changes, this is on iPhone 13 pro max, on iPhone tablet pro, this way of sync will not work, you need to enter the category that is updated, and you need to exit the app, enter again, and if that doesn’t work, you need to repeat and it will sync. The idea is good, but they misled and they don’t provide enough info nor about the free version nor about the paid version. Not reliable enough and not worth paying for it with these problems.

  • Frustrating pricing plan for small business

The tools are good, but their plans and pricing are super frustrating (and even misleading) for a very small business. We are just a team of two full-timers. perfect for Monday’s basic plan, except for our work we need to use the Gant and timeline views, which is only offered at the standard pay plan. Great, no problem! We are happy to pay for that plan. on their pricing page, they advertise it as $10 per seat per month. We did the trial, tested the product, but then as I was signing up for the full plan, I realized they had a minimum of three seats on a plan, which means we had to pay 30% more every month for a seat we don’t need. nowhere on the pricing page does it say there is a minimum number of seats required for the plan. unlike Asana and Clickup, which allow you to customize your plan based on the exact number of members you need, Monday forces you to fall into different tiers of seats, so you may have to pay for more than you need. after speaking with customer service about this, they were not willing to budge. I totally get that this may sound petty to some, but for a very small start up, this additional expense can mean a lot. Especially when there are competitors that offer a similar product for less. anyways, super disappointed in Monday in both how they represent their plans as well as what their actual policy is on this.
