Good fun
This is a really interesting concept and great fun to play. I haven’t come across anything like this before. Like many new things, it’s fairly basic; the story is very simple, the puzzles are simple, there aren’t many of them & sometimes it takes a few tries to get the actions to work. The text animations are great. I really hope to see this idea develop into something more sophisticated. £4.99 is expensive for what you get & I hope that paying this will help the developers with their next project.

Do not miss out
Honestly do not understand why this app has anything less than 5 star ratings, absolutely bloody amazing, such immersive storytelling and creative gameplay I would honestly pay £10 for a second book!

Glad I Stumbled Upon This
Very amazing game!! I’m in awe over the animation and the immersive nature of this story. Still playing and I only really have seen two flaws of the game. First, it doesn’t include gender neutral pronouns, really makes me feel silly using a set of pronouns that isn’t really my own (somewhat breaks the immersion, sadly). Secondly, the puzzle for the rotating medallion was baffling. I think I was supposed to hear something, to help solve the puzzle, but for the life of me I just couldn’t hear anything other than the repetitive sound of it turning.
The other puzzles were cool though! I love how it uses many different abilities of the phone to solve the puzzles, I can’t wait to see what other aspects of the phone will be used to further solve other puzzles.
Also the music is awesome. Absolutely spooky and gets your heart racing, in more ways than one. Had to get that last note in.

Talk about a hard sell...
We've seen a lot of people complain about the 5 dollar pricetag and the lack of warning on that front. We understand from a consumer's perspective why this might be a problem, especially on the app store, where most things are expected to be free to start with more subtle but manipulative monetization. But honestly? The price seems totally fair, we fully intend to purchase the full version when we can afford to. What DID rub us the wrong way was just how urgent the purchase felt... we understand the intention behind it, and think its an interesting one having every interaction the reader has with the book be meaningful is part of the appeal. But being made to feel bad for not being able to pay up immediately after the book's perfect pace and feeling of urgency just feels a bit off.
That said, we don't know how this could have been dealt with any better, so yeah, thanks for the cool game.

Absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to read something else that is done this way. Genius. Don’t be put off by the price. It’s worth every bit of £4.99
Just WOW !!!
Leaving the fastest review I can simply because I just want to return back to reading haha. I love this app, the story, the concept, the jokes. ALL OF IT!!! This was very thought out and well written. The writers, the helpers, everyone has done a magnificent job in creating such a masterpiece. I myself love to write. I always have ever since I was a young kid and reading thus far has brought back the motivation I needed to get back into it (Writing). Hoping someday, I make such an awesome work of literature like this one. Literally the best $4.99 I’ve ever spent. Thank you to all for working so hard in making this beauty. I literally can’t get enough! Oh, and to those complaining about this app in regards to having to pay and blah blah blah, seriously? YA sit there and dedicate all the time and effort it took for the group of intellectuals to bring this together. If you don’t like the book just simply close it, delete it, then go your merry way. There is NO need to leave such a negative review simply because you’re bro- As a matter of fact, I’ll stop here. Michael is calling. Awesome job. Looking forward to more app releases!

Pleased overall, but....
Surprisingly, I am not going to say that I docked a star for the pay wall. Was I surprised it was there? A little. However, $5 didn’t seem like a horrible price to pay for the full version of the app.
That being said, when I realized that purchasing the full version of the app unlocked only 4 additional chapters? I was disappointed. I held out hope that maybe they were longer than the first two chapters. That there were more tasks that I as the reader would have to complete to help the character in the story progress. Again, I was disappointed. I completed the story in less than two hours, and had nothing left to show for my $5.
Now, the story itself is an interesting concept and the app is designed beautifully. I think the developers did a wonderful job of using just the right amount of conceptual design to pull the reader in and make you want to keep reading the story. Unfortunately, the story is rushed and ends far too quickly. There was potential for the story to be much more in depth and immersive, and I think the app just misses the mark where that’s concerned. I would love to see future releases with new stories or additional chapters.
Overall, I would say if you want to lose yourself for an hour or two depending on how fast you read and you don’t mind parting with $5, this app is a great little break from your day. Just don’t expect more from it than it is prepared to give.

The first two chapters that you read for free are pretty great and fun to read but once you get to the part where you have to pay to read more I suggest that you should pay that small fee. The rest of the chapters are full of awesome animations and fun little puzzles. Me myself don’t even read books but when I came across this app in the AppStore something told me to tap on it! I read the book and also did pay money to read the rest of the chapters but overall it was worth it! I actually can’t wait to see if there will be more books like this in the future! This book kind of expired me to read more books! I would also like to thank the creators of the book for sharing this experience with me and I would like to see more! Oh and Michael is REAL!

As a writer myself I wanted to create a book similar to how this works so I was excited to see someone else has done it! I love your book, I haven’t paid for the rest of it yet...I’m on holiday and I’ll read the rest next week!

Incredible
I truly was amazed with how much I loved this app. I was that typical person who said to myself “why should I pay $4.99 to continue reading on? would it be worth it at all?” and honestly...this was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The storyline was so truly amazing. I could picture everything so clearly and I felt real emotions while reading. The interactive pieces and cool affects made it all the more enjoyable. I wish it didn’t end. I almost cried just thinking that the journey is over. I truly hope they will add more stories like this to this app (without charging the reader anymore money). Overall this is one of the best apps I’ve ever downloaded and it is something I will never forget. Even if they don’t add new content I will definitely go back and re-read this one several times in the future.
