I'll also take your feedback on the "last seen" to the team. In the meantime, you can still view when a device was last seen by going to the device's details page, and navigating to the "Network" section. Great App but could use some additional features
Few things that could improve the app even more:
- Pausing is still taking considerable time - if possible improve response time to pause wifi devices
- Landscape mode for iPad, this is one thing I hope TELUS focuses on - as i have a Smart Keyboard, and has been a pain to use portrait mode
- Integrate Firewall rules into the app, bit odd that wifi app has great integration with the Telus routers, but lacks advanced settings
- Additional Wi-Fi visibility - a overall view like on the router portal that shows boosters/router and which devices are connected to it. Currently in the app, shows all devices and where they are connected to, would be great if i can filter to a booster and see which devices are connected to it. Would help with troubleshooting
- Signal strength per device - would be great to see signal strength per device to assist with placing hubs around the house
- Scheduling of device wifi connections - ability to schedule devices for screen time. I currently have to use the router portal to set screen time for my kids devices, but would be a lot more useful to have this ability in the wifi app
- Usage report - Some usage statics for either overall egress/ingress traffic or per device usage. Would be helpful to see how much traffic is being used, and by which devices.
