Love the game. My gf and I have started our own city and we play everyday. Been like this for about a year. Great with friends and even joining new lobbies for the heck of it. The updates. Ohhh the updates. Stock exchange building now takes away the ability for brand new (and older) players to play with and explore the markets UNLESS the building is constructed. Unnecessary. A barn was recently put into the game for starting players to increase storage. Decent but the warehouse was fine the way it was. And now, warehouses cost 8-10x what they used to, with horrible upgraded storage AND an increased requirement for level just to purchase. It’s almost not even worth getting one except for a lvl 1 warehouse. I’ve upgraded mine to lvl 3 now, both, and have received a total of 2k storage. Back before the barn and the broken and HIGHLY expensive warehouse update, I used to get around 5-6k extra storage at that level. So very very very UNNECESSARY.
I’ve never left a review on the app store before, but I really love this game. It’s easy if you are busy with your every day life, you can check in see whats up, upgrade your stuff and leave.
I’ve got my friends and family into it and they all have multiple cities they participate in.
Ive been playing consistently for about 4-5 months which is longer than any iPhone game I have played before.
My only complaint is the event system.
I like playing the events but I’ve given up completely on them. It is nearly impossible to get first place and win an “Event only” building.
I’m not in school and I’m not a kid ( no disrespect ) I can’t sit on my phone all day and make sure I win.
My suggestion is this. Make an event shop.
Reconfigure the whole way events work. You should get “Event Points” based on your placement in the event, and there should be an “Event Shop” opened up in which you can spend your points for the Event Locked buildings. Make every building a certain amount of event points that way you can save your points up across multiple events, and still have access to the better buildings.
Also there needs to be a way to implement suggestions within the game so more people can give their ideas!
I’d rate 5 stars if it wasn’t for the simple fact I’ll never be able to unlock Event Buildings.

The game is overall great I enjoy playing. But a few days ago these awfully mean people joined my server and has been harassing everyone. They have been saying sexual things to everyone. One of them said “ik know your pus sy is throbbing thinking about all the c um you fit in your a ss” which is unacceptable in this game. Especially when the person tagged in this comment is a minor and the person who said it said they were 27. There should be a way to kick players or having them voted to be kicked out by the players in the server. This has been going on for about a week in my server even though I have reported them multiple times. Before our little community was great and helpful and now I just don’t even want to play.
Mayors should be able to start a vote kick on other players.
There should be a city vault, so players can donate money for Mayors to give out to others.
Mayors should be able to rob people for no reason every now and then. Gives players more of a reason not to choose certain people who will just try to give themselves money.
And finally, Mayors should be able to have a double vote for the next election, but can’t vote themselves.
I’ve been looking for a game like this for so long, and the fact that I can play with my friends is hands down the best feature. So much so that I actually think it’s not utilized to it’s full potential. I have this amazing city with my girlfriend, we’ve been playing for months at this point. Once you reach a certain level and want to upgrade buildings, things really start to slow down. Build times go to 4-48 hours, leaving actual play time to about 10 minutes in app and waiting for the builders to do their thing. I’d love to see maybe some mini games, some 1v1 city events. Even disasters? Also the events seem to be terribly set up. One city is always 100’s points ahead of every other plex, almost impossible to get those stats and half the people in a plex are inactive leaving me in the dump no matter how hard I try. Something to keep me on the app longer while I wait to get to upgrades is really what I’m asking. It’s an amazing app and I see my self playing it for a long time!
Very fun game! I love building a town with my friends, it’s a nice cute little game you can check in on once or twice a day. My only complaint is that to play in more than one town you have to pay 2.99 (or 3.99 I can’t remember off hand) to unlock 2/3 more plots.
Love the game. Fun time-passer. However, some features that should be added include a UI for people managing external from each individual home and a method of managing housing and jobs in the same menu. Either a way to evict from a job building or a way to hire/place people into jobs directly from the house would improve quality of life. As more houses are built this becomes incredibly time consuming to guess where the unemployed person is. Even just an indicator of efficiency would help.
This is a great game I just have 1 complaint whenever I build a new building it always builds it at the same spot regardless of if there’s something there or not when there is something already there then I cannot access it unless I move the building that it was placed on top of doing that evicts everyone living there which is kind of annoying I also have a level 1 house with 3/2 people living in it got an average efficiency of 101%. But other than some bugs a great game
This game is something that I just really enjoy, with how much interaction is between the players of the town and the amount of cooperation needed. One of the best city builders of all time.
