Password
Tried to retrieve password and it requires a password to be put in before you can click on retrieve password. Anyone else find this ridiculous?
Fix for iPhone X
Am I to assume that this app will not be updated anymore since last one was a year ago? Here is my issue. I cannot connect to my network through my iPhone X. This app will not see any network. I have two different routers in my home. That being said I downloaded this to my older iPad and it saw my networks right away and all is working fine. Would really to get it to work on my phone and not have to depend on my iPad.

Ignore the operator error reviews
My goodness It’s so obnoxious to see people who lack technical skills use technology and complain due to their own ineptness when it comes to technology...then give a crap review and rating of the manufacturer.
Shill review of a competitor perhaps?
This thermometer was so simple to setup it’s not even an issue.
You download this app and follow the instructions on the screen, it walks you through it like a 5 year old...doesn’t get much simpler!
Had the unit connected in less than 3 minutes including unpacking, downloading the app and leafing through the pamphlet.

WiFi DOES work!! Even remotely!!
Ok first off, CHECK YOUR ROUTER. The only reason WiFi won't work with these is they are not downwards compatible. Modern WiFi routers will work just fine as long as they have 2.4ghz and meet the letter requirements. I just found out this isn't just WiFi, it's remote access WiFi. Game: changed. Granted I can't control my smoker temp remotely, but I can at least monitor what's going on! Pretty awesome!

Works for me
Turns out I was entering a slightly wrong network ID (the app will accept it and say “success” anyway which through me off). Once I realized I was misspelling my password it paired instantly.
Follow the directions
It works, if is doesn’t you are doing something wrong (most likely). If you are not getting a reading of temp in the app, your password is wrong. The app does not tell you if your password is correct or not, it will always say success.......double check what your password is and also that you are on the network you are trying to connect it to. I’d does not work with 5 WiFi......so if it’s not working and you have 2 signals try the other one.

Does not stay Connected!
I get kicked out every time I pair my thermometer.
It says unsecured network. my network has duel speeds.
and the LivingSmart network disappeared. I paired it many times.

Great potential but too much time investment to simply tell temperature
Bought this rig to relieve some stress when grilling and found myself instead, standing on the ledge ready to jump.
I would recommend you return this one to the point of sale and get the other one you were looking at before you too wind up on the ledge. That’s what I am doing.
Took hours to make what should have been a simple Wi-Fi sync only to find it would not register temperature. Can’t invest more time and effort into something design to make my life more “easy” that simply increases stress.
Contacted via 9 e-mails to get Wi-Fi connected. SSID must be broadcasting in order to connect.

Thermometer works, app doesn’t
This is kind of neat, when it works...
I was able to connect and get it all working, but every new cook required me to re-pair the thermometer in order to get the app to connect.
Today, it refuses to connect. I suspect that it is a server outage at the company’s website, and since it’s a holiday, I don’t think it will be resolved while I went to use it.
The thermometer itself still works, but that’s not why I bought this.
This is not a thermometer that you can rely on.

It’s Dead!
Bought this around five months ago, I had the same pairing issues covered in the previous reviews and now it won’t take a charge. Save your money and your time get another brand.
