Download was easy and straightforward
Works great for me. Only problem I have is the unit always defaults to Celsius when I turn it on. Minor inconvenience to an otherwise good device. Accurate and better than my last brand.

Does not connect to WiFi, went off through the set up process connected it successfully and still doesn’t give a reading!
It is so hit and miss
I can't get the actual yep reader of centigrade Plus if you listen to its guide your food will be way over cooked

Worked fine for a few days then never worked again with WiFi! Spend the extra money and get something that works!
Absolutely unusable
Unable to pair my thermometer to my phone. I was able to connect it once but it no longer sees the device and all wireless functions are unable to be used. Absolute garbage.
Super lame. Don’t waste your time on this setup.
This hardware and app are so hard to get synced up that the developers should be ashamed. If I released an app like this I would be run out of town. 1 Star is the lowest the rating system goes. This one is a zero.
App and thermometer work great.
Finally, I can leave the house and smoke large cuts of meat and whole hogs!
People apparently can’t read. This app sets up easy and works reliably. It deserves much more than the current 2.3 rating (23 reviews). Either some of these people have horrible WiFi or they just can’t follow simple instructions.
My only complaint is that if you have a timer set, you can’t close the app or the timer goes back to zero. Petty, but that’s my only complaint.

Works flawlessly if you just follow the instructions. Very nice app. Now I don’t have to go down and up the deck stairs to check the temperature.
Wi-Fi Function Doesn’t Work
No problem with the tutorial or set up. The Wi-Fi function just doesn’t work. Went through the syncing/pairing process multiple times trying to get the Wi-Fi function to communicate between my iPhone and the thermometer. The Wi-Fi function was the whole reason why I purchased this unit. I downloaded the App to my phone, completed the pairing process and connected successfully to Wi-Fi. Although the base unit indicates that it is synced with my phone, it will not show the actual thermometer temperature on the App (even after repeating the setup process over the next hour). The App does not show the temperature (just a blank - -). No amount of refreshing the App, turning phone or thermometer off/on, or reinstalling fixes it. Thank goodness I saved my receipt and the packaging.

Very easy to set up
I’m assuming there have been some updates that corrected whatever caused people to give this a bad review. It was extremely easy to set up; the directions were spot on.
