Description of aGesic

The work done alone or in isolated environments exposes to a very high risk: in case of emergency or malaise no one other than the unfortunate person is able to give the alarm. aGesic is a system that detects: - the operator’s state of immobility which, if prolonged, triggers the alarm by signalling the emergency to a control centre and to the connected telephones. - the exact location of the worker for the immediate dispatch of rescue services, thereby reducing the aggravation of the ongoing danger. Compared to the "man on the ground" devices on the market, aGesic offers a higher level of accuracy, minimizing false alarms. Such devices trigger the alert when the operator, due to illness or accident, assumes the horizontal position (it is in fact called "man on the ground alarm", "man down alarm "or "dead man alarm"). However, an accident does not always involve a fall to the ground: this is why aGesic sends an alarm when the device detects the lack of movement. aGesic does not require external devices, operating on two levels: the App on the worker’s phone and the control panel that receives the alarms.
